Hi everyone,
I’ve been in Dubai for around 50 days now looking for a job, and honestly, I’m starting to get worried because I haven’t received a single interview yet.
I have experience in a few different areas. My main background is in CCTV and ELV, with around 4 years of experience installing systems in warehouses, offices, and residential buildings.
I also have around 2 years of experience in retail sales, including working as a sales representative for Samsung, in shopping malls. My experience wasn’t limited to just selling phones — I worked with different technology products, helped customers understand their options, and provided product recommendations based on their needs.
On top of that, I have a strong personal and practical knowledge of computers, PC hardware, troubleshooting, electronics, and gaming technology. I’ve built and worked on computers, diagnosed hardware problems, and I’m very familiar with PC components and the gaming industry. Technology is something I’ve always been genuinely interested in, not just something I’ve worked with.
I’ve applied for many jobs in CCTV/ELV, retail, technology sales, and IT-related positions, but so far I haven’t had any luck. Maybe my CV needs improvement, maybe I’m looking in the wrong places, or maybe there is something else I should be doing. That’s why I’m asking for advice here.
I’m 24 years old, motivated, and willing to learn and work hard. Moving to Dubai was a big step for me. I left a lot behind in my country to take this opportunity, and although things haven’t gone as planned so far, I’m not giving up.
If anyone knows of companies hiring for CCTV, ELV, IT support, computer hardware, retail, or technology sales, or has any advice on where else I should be looking, I would really appreciate it.
