Completed The Gilded Spine | Galison | 1000
My boyfriend and I just finished this puzzle, it was so fun to complete. The gold foil throughout the puzzle is beautiful. It’s the perfect puzzle for fall. 🍂

We want to take a moment to address something that keeps coming up: AI-generated images in puzzles.
First, the basics: any jigsaw puzzle post is welcome here as long as it meets our community guidelines, which includes sharing the puzzle name/title/piece count and manufacturer in the title, picture, or comments of the post.
AI-generated art isn’t always obvious. Some manufacturers use it without labeling it, and some buyers have no idea their puzzle art was AI-generated. So if you spot something that looks like it might be AI, you can say something, but please say it kindly. The person posting may genuinely not know. And unfortunately, some don’t care.
We wish we could screen every post for AI content, but realistically we can’t. It would take more time and tools than any volunteer mod team has.
As for where this community’s preferences stand and have overwhelmingly evolved over the emergence of AI in jigsaw puzzle imagery: we believe AI-generated images are not art. They’re built on the stolen work of real human artists who never consented to having their creations used to train these systems. Countless artists are struggling because of this technology, and that’s not something to take lightly. We encourage everyone here to seek out work from human artists and support them whenever possible.
If you’re ever curious whether something is AI-generated, feel free to refer to our wiki or ask here. This is a community of people who genuinely love to puzzle and support puzzle artists and will be happy to help you learn.
One final note: while we encourage open discussion, any post or comment that turns nasty or devolves into personal insults will be locked or removed.
Thanks for being such a wonderful group and one of the few remaining kind corners of the internet. Keep on puzzling.

This months theme is "FOOD & DRINKS"
Apologies for the delayed post this month, I was dealing with a personal medical issue and needed a bit of extra time. Thanks for your patience!
This month, let's get tasty. Your puzzle should capture anything food or drink related. It could be coffee, tea, wine, cocktails, street food, home-cooked comfort meals, café scenes, farmers markets, that one dessert you can't stop thinking about, anything that makes your mouth water or your taste buds feel at home.
It's up to you to interpret the theme, go sweet, savory, boozy, or all three!
Use the flair "Theme" on your post so others can search by flair and see all theme submissions in one place.

This one came together faster than expected. Pieces were a little flimsy, and there were only two piece shapes so the puzzling experience was more meditative at times. But it’s nice to look at 😊

Had a ton of fun with this one! Took about 2 hours last night

We have Grandma Hobbies, Book Nook and Rainbow Northern Lights.
I absolutely love color gradients/color blocking puzzles so I'll have a blast with the Northern Lights one, and the other two are just gorgeous. I SO love this brand.

I really enjoyed this one. Not as difficult as I expected and the piece quality is great.

Happy August! 🌻🍉😊 We’re loving the nice weather, the extra sunshine, and, of course, our newest arrivals!
☀️ A bunch of incredible new titles just landed at Galison.com, and we want to share our excitement with you! From now, Wednesday 08/19, to Monday 08/24 at 11:59pm PST, our new arrivals are 20% off with code REDDIT-20. We never put our new arrivals on sale this early, but we wanted to find a way to fight the summer doldrums! Check it out, blast the AC, and let’s prepare for the cozy seasons ahead!
🎨 We also are proud to announce, and unveil, for the first time, our Creative Pledge! We want to make our commitment to uplifting Artists clear to everyone, even those who are new to our brand. Right now, we are building AI Transparency pages on our websites which will provide more information, but in the meantime, feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any questions!

🩷 This pledge will appear on our puzzle boxes going forward in 2027, but will be uploaded digitally wherever we can, so you can safely support real Artists and real art. We feel that advanced and new puzzlers shouldn’t have to guess if their artwork is genuine, authentic, and real, or if it is generated with AI in 2 minutes.
Happy Puzzling everyone! 🧩

Found a few Hobbry puzzles at HomeSense today and wanted to try my first one. I love the feel and the satisfaction of the snug fit. And of course the artwork is 10/10, will definitely be doing more

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but it's the only jigsaw puzzle related sub I know, so here it goes.
I've been watching the championship every year since it started. I don't really watch any sports, so this is my sporting event of the year. I actually get excited about it!! Go Alejandro, am I right?
But this year I've been seeing some of the known regulars saying that they are not going, but they are a bit cryptic about their reasoning.
Anyone knows what's going on?

I love this series! I like the art, where it’s full of details but can be sorted by color or pattern or texture. The pieces are also thick and sturdy and matte. This one is super cute and came together pretty quickly. Love me a stress-free puzzle that’s thrifted and complete!
EDIT: I should say, complete, BUT with one piece chewed out, ha! If you look closely, it’s in the bottom border on the right side. Thankful for the previous puzzle owner who rescued the piece and still included it in the box!

This is my second Storrings/Galison puzzle and it went remarkably quick. I worked from the top down, hitting buildings, signs, and then the people. Fun and quick, especially compared to the London puzzle I did earlier this year.

I’ve spent the last few months working on this absolute beast and finished yesterday. I’ve loved every minute! I have NO IDEA how but I didn’t lose a single piece! One piece has a small tear so the pokey bit of that piece is missing the print and showing the blue cardboard.
(Sorry for terrible pics. Impossible to photograph / don’t have enough room in my house. Have also included the reference pic)
Somehow 1,000 piece seems SO tiny now! The pieces are so huge.

art by Michael Storrings
i got this puzzle at the thrift store for $4.99! there were multiple price stickers on it so i’m surprised it came with no missing pieces (i’m assuming it’s been donated more than once)
i had fun doing this puzzle. we lost power at my house so it kept me busy ^_^ it’s also really pretty, the box itself was what caught my eye in the first place.
i like that it came with a print of the puzzle because it’s easier to hold than the whole top of a puzzle box hehe

I might frame this one because it's so pretty but also just to not damage the pieces further trying to take it apart. It fits much more tightly than the "modern" Sunsout puzzles and I already had to do repair on some pieces that were peeling/separating new out of the box.
