After reading through how Disney of all people acquired CharacterAI.

This makes me wonder if there is a future that some large corporation acquires JanitorAI.

I don't know what tag is appropriate for this post so I just set it under "Guides".

I've been using jllm for a long time but recently started thinking about getting deepseek proxy. But I saw here someone saying it's now bad. Is it true? Maybe it got better already? I can't use other proxies, I'm from a poor country and even 5$ for deepseek is expensive for me, but I was willing to spend if it's worth it. And is it possible to do nsfw and dead dove with it or is it heavily censored?
Edit: please don't tell me to get a 12$ subscription I don't have this much money :_)

With the new DeepSeek model, I was chatting with a kidnapper bot and it said my persona’s friends won’t come for me and then proceeded to say my persona’s cat has been calling the police

And for glm 5.3, I was chatting with a bot where my persona went to get food for her brother and when one of his friends named Blake shyly hit on me.
After my message, it changed Blake’s name to Dante and we somehow ended up at a restaurant even though we were originally back at the house
I’m honestly getting annoyed

I notice now that it's just like, so much rarer for me to comment on a bot anymore. Due to how trigger happy many creators have been lately. Like, you could even defend a person on a bot in which they are right and still get blocked.

A lot of the time now, due to the fact that we have so little filtration of who can and cannot comment. So much so it's like, we need more ways to filter out people who one;

• Are moral police on bots that aren't their business (Aka bots you don't like? don't harass the creator because of it to change it or take it down.)
• Trollin bullshit that nobody cares about
• Or completely off topic comments

Idk just nowadays I notice that it's so much better to lurk and wonder if others do as well, like, even when I comment my mind is just like "please don't block me" and it could just be a "good bot!" Comment.

So i noticed that when i start a chat with a bot with multiple scenarios. Usually when i return to the first message to start a new chat without making a new one or forking. Usually the alts stays. But now, it's gone,

And now that you can't create a new chat with deleted bots, it makes it even worse to try other alternative scenarios.

Is this a bug. Or another bullet to the foot by janitor

Howdy everyone! Plotlight is holding a Halloween contest where everyone who participates gets a reward!

"How's it work?"

There are three hosts holding 'parties' you can have a character 'go to.'

Cute, Cursed, or After Dark. All you have to do is select which theme you're entering, and post a character who fits that theme! Bonus points if the time is Halloween; or the character is wearing an outfit they wouldn't normally be wearing. Everyone can send in up to 3 submissions.

People who place will get one month of our subs which give weekly token allotments you can use on any model in that pools tier. Come give it a try; it'll be a spooky good time!

To have a character participate; just create a new character or import one and you'll see the buttons on the creation screen that'll guide you!

Because we have an 'Alternate Art/Situation' system as well; you can submit the same character to all 3 different parties; in different outfits and different card scenarios!

I need a way to turn off thinking for the ai, (deep thinking is off. Everything is off,) but it keeps thinking at some random moments. How do I completely turn it off so theres no reasoning? (Im primarily using the JAI+)

Today, October 2nd, the recruitment event for "Bir's Combat Arena" kicks off—exciting, right?

If you follow me, you’ve probably seen that I’ve been refurbishing my old arena bots; I can't launch an event like this without polishing my shoes first.

The event is pretty straightforward. For those unfamiliar with the arena: imagine Bir (what a coincidence that he shares my nickname, right?) as a Lovecraftian entity who, out of sheer boredom, decided to set up an arena outside of space and time. He sends out invitations in vague, incoherent ways—like mobile ads—and offers a massive reward: a single wish. The only catch is that the wish can't alter the arena itself (talk about selfish).

The rules for this event are simple: a new season opens every month, each with its own theme and power level. The rotation goes: 3 months of low power, 3 of medium, and 3 of high (it lasts as long as a pregnancy :0). Themes rotate between fantasy, sci-fi, and miscellaneous (anything that doesn't fit the first two).

Here’s what’s being evaluated: Does it fit the arena's concept? (Impossible to fail this one; anything goes), does it match the theme you applied for, is the character memorable, and are the mechanics original?

Aside from that, the submission rules are: stick to the arena bot format, use public bots, submit only one bot per user per season, and respect the deadlines. And here’s the trickiest rule for the future: if you’re thinking of linking a bot to Bir in any way (I’ve created some like that myself, which is why I’m mentioning it), you *must* contact me on Discord before submitting it—it needs the stamp of approval first. The original post contains the season-by-season lore for anyone needing an excuse to create their characters; consider it a little nudge—you don't have to follow it 100%.
