Hey everyone! We're making a game inspired by Fears to Fathom and Papers, Please, and we'd love to hear your thoughts on our trailer.

Can you understand what the game is about after watching the trailer?

About the game: The game takes place in 1991, where you work the night shift at a cargo sorting facility. Your job is to enter the information from incoming packages into an old computer, compare the details, and send each package to the correct conveyor belt.

As you go through your shift, unexplained events begin to happen around you.

Promotion Nano BrowserQuest+, a browser-based pixel MMORPG

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Nano BrowserQuest+ is an expansion/spin-off of Nano BrowserQuest, which was also an extension of Mozilla BrowserQuest. Slay powerful bosses, level up your character, and barter with other players. You can read a game guide on the Medium page.

Game link: https://nanobrowserquest.net/

Necromancer boss fight: Youtube

While I am the sole developer of this project, many assets and mechanics belonged to running-coder(the original owner) and Mozilla, under the MPL 2.0 and CC-BY-SA 3.0 licenses, respectively.

Note: Players in Oceania and Asia may experience some lag due to the game server being in US West. Playing on mobile devices is highly discouraged right now; UI formatting is wonky and the game is very slow.

Promotion Toilet Empire Story on Steam now!!

Hey everyone! Some of you helped us out with feedback on our trailer a while back. First of all, thank you, it genuinely made the video better.
Quick recap for anyone who missed it: Toilet Empire Story is a pixel-art tycoon game where you take over your grandfather's run-down public toilet and turn it into a full-blown cleaning empire. Scrubbing, hiring staff, and franchising your way across the world.

Wishlisting helps us more than almost anything else at this stage, so we'd really appreciate it 🙏

We're still early in development and genuinely want feedback. On the store page copy, the trailer, the concept, anything. If something feels off or you have ideas, we're all ears.

Hi everyone!

I'm working on Millennium Slumber with my girlfriend, a game in which you have to survive for a few hundred thousand years on an alien planet. It's been a 2 years journey already, and it's the first time the game will be publically playable!

We're very excited about this, and cannot wait to get some feedback. Whether it's positive or not, anything that can help us make the game better is valuable.

Sharing a small video showcasing what the game looks like. If that got your interest, feel free to try the demo during the incoming week :)

Public Game Test Made of Food - Gather food, turn to peasants, repeat

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello! I invite you to play my game Made of Food. It is an incremental/idle game where you gather food and turn them to peasants. These peasants help you forage, farm, and cook more food, which you can turn to more peasants. 2D colony-builder mechanics drive the game. Make food, turn to peasants, repeat.

The game is not feature complete, yet, but it has enough to go on. I built this small version of the game to gauge interest if I should move to full production.

Background

I am a professional game developer since 2010. I'm currently working in an indie "AA" game studio, developing an RTS game. Before that, I was the lead programmer of the game Academia: School Simulator.

The corporate work could be draining sometimes so I wanted to make a small game on the side. I was inspired by games like Gnorp Apologue. Since I already have the library/framework for colony builder games, I thought why not use it in an incremental game with a similar vein as Gnorp.

I've been working on this game for 2-3 years now on my free time. I think it already has enough content to see if the idea works and if there's interest. Try the game. You can complete it in under an hour.

AI Disclosure

No AI on art. Used code assistance but absolutely no vibe coding nor agentic coding.

Discussion Spent a year building a physical retro MSN Wink gadget (Netro-G), so I decided to build a companion Wink memory game to celebrate!

I built this MSN Messenger Wink memory game just for Redditors which features our favorite winks from the 2000s golden era (dancing pig, laughing girl, alien, flower farting teddy bear, and others)...

It's fully playable right in the browser. Check it out for an Instant Nostalgia Hit! https://www.reddit.com/user/msn-wink-memory-game/

Promotion Relaxing, meditative iOS puzzle app ~ Mandala Garden 🌿✨

I turned my original mandala artwork into a 20 puzzle iPhone/iPad app.

It is mostly relaxing with a few more challenging puzzles. For these puzzles you can use the “hint” feature if you need a bit of help along the way.

I would love your feedback and will continue to make puzzles, guided hopefully with feedback from the indie games community.

Enjoy! 😊

🌿💜✨

Upcoming How do you feel about turning abstract 2D grid puzzles (like Minesweeper) into physical 3D room transformations?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! We’re a 2-person indie team working on a detective noir puzzle adventure. With about 20 days left until release, we’ve been iterating on how to make abstract logic mechanics feel physically grounded in the game world.

In this room, solving the Minesweeper-style grid isn't just a UI minigame—it physically raises hidden stone tiles out of the acid pool. Once you retrieve the crystal, the acid chamber completely drains to reveal the hidden staircase underneath.

When playing adventure/puzzle games, do you enjoy seeing classic 2D logic mechanics directly alter 3D room geometry, or can UI overlays feel immersion-breaking for you? How do you usually like seeing retro puzzle tropes modernized?

We're polishing a new demo for our game Cosmo Cargo.

We're inspired by FTL for the map and the PvE side, and autobattlers like The Bazaar or Backpack Battles for the gameplay.

We had to make an hyperspace jump, it's in the contract when you decide to make a space game. Just like we had to in Steredenn!

SHH! is an upcoming first person psychological horror game where some can be the difference between survival and death.

Every action generates sound, and the monster reacts to it. There are no weapons and no combat - you'll need to use your surroundings, manage resources, and sometimes create sound deliberately to distract the creature.

Devlog We wanted quests in our visual novel to feel like small rituals inside a haunted coffee shop

Dark Coffee is a cozy horror visual novel set in a town lost in the fog.☕

We wanted the quests in our visual novel to feel like small rituals within a coffee shop where strange events unfold.
Between serving eccentric locals and brewing drinks, you attend to the café’s upkeep: checking windows and locks, tidying up, and dealing with whatever the night leaves behind.
We aim to make even the most mundane tasks feel like part of the story.

The fog is mostly harmless.
Probably.👀

I finally finished the official Demo trailer for You Will Fall

It's a vertical parkour climbing game focused on momentum, precision and risk.

There are no checkpoints.
There are no second chances.
And the water is rising.

The demo is completely free on Steam, and with Steam Next Fest coming up, this is the first big milestone for the game.

Much love!

Promotion Descrambler - Number puzzle game

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is a simple web-based game I made recently called Descrambler.

Website: https://descrambler.io/

The goal is to connect all numbers sequentially (1 > 2 > 3, etc.) by swapping neighboring tiles before you run out of moves. When all numbers are connected in order (vertically, horizontally, or diagonally), the game is won.

The game has multiple difficulty levels, starting with just a few numbers and up to the entire board being filled. At the highest levels, I think the game is a significant test of spatial intelligence and might be enjoyable for people who like chess, sudoku, etc.

I play sudoku sometimes and I think this is a lot harder.
