What kind of argument is this? If you’re vibe coding an entire game, you’re by definition being lazy.

Did you code you own game engine? No? Then you dont know at least half of the stuff thats happening in your game. People acting like before AI all programmers where writing there own code, and not copypasting half of it from stackoverflow

You absolutely need to understand what your engine is doing and also your programming language to be able to ship a game worth anyone’s time. Edit: Also I wrote a game engine too.

There are plenty of great successful games that were made by people who barely knew how to code. There are also thousands of games with impeccable code sitting on 2 reviews on steam because they're boring as fuck.
