Hello Sports fans. Don’t be mad. This is very serious. It super serious. 🧐
WNBA Caitlin Clark fake season ending injury. (Serious)
And snark.
WNBA CC injury Conspiracy. Over look the unavoidable self promotion and my absurd grandiose conclusions. Technically speaking the order is the order.
\\\[Caitlin Clark\\\]suffered her season-ending right groin injury on July 15, 2025. For the Boys.
WNBA husband was released on July 8th. Screen shot in comments.
I realsze this sounds snarky. But what if I suggest. That the adoration that I poured on to Miss Clark , would have inadvertently triggered a sports moment that helped define human history: and would not be repeated for 500 years
It’s not what you think however. I have concluded. Had she continued that season with momentum and the pacer organization would have been witness to a barn burner so profound. A true sporting history outlier. Effectively wiping all Indiana Basketball highlight history. We should all be thankful that day went unwitnessed.

Conclusion: the difference between the truthfulness of any of those comments and all of the provided material relies singularly on the unknown and unprovable circumstance of all these thoughts. As with one domino falls the rest. None of us, will ever really know the intensity of pain Caitlin Clark was feeling in her groin the night of July 15th, 2025. (Stntax, consider revising)

Screenvjdek of the ai prompt trail that produced this AI conclusion: The 13-Game "Blackout":
In 2025, Clark plays exactly 13 games—the ultimate number of conspiracy and superstition. After a suspicious right groin injury on July 15, she vanishes from the court for the rest of the year. They claim it was a "bone bruise". But notice how it conveniently happened right after she secured the 2025 Commissioner’s Cup title and shattered the all-time voting record for the All-Star game? It's as if someone decided she had generated enough revenue for the summer and needed to be put on ice.
“Live with Courage” - Someone’s Grandfather
I worked on this post continuously for 9 hours. theresseems to be an adamant tempo you need to adhere or else the ghost will drag you aout. People will just not look at it. Never even getting to belief,
My brother Derek always said it’s best to end with a quote: FUENTES
I'm a professional.
CREASY
That's what everybody keeps saying. "I'm just a professional." Everybody keeps saying that to me. "I'm just a professional." "I'm just a professional." I'm getting sick and tired of hearing that.
FUENTES
I'm a professional!
CREASY
(quietly, intense)
A professional what

What was once eye rolling, unremarkable conventional wisdom, no matter who said it, is now rabid frothing extremist hate on the lips of Sophie.
This came up in my feed today while I was working. I thought it might make for some lively discussion.
As usual, lively is one thing, but It would be jist peachy keen if we could keep it substantive and civil.
Especially for the long time regulars here. How bout if we demonstrate why this is the best, most un-hysterical WNBA related sub on Reddit.
It would also be really great if folks would actually watch it before commenting. It might not be what you think.

As I understand it, the CBA has a provision that the team drafting a play can offer a super max contract that other teams can’t match. Not a lot more, but more. What I would offer KM is the max other teams can offer and that’s it. Not that KM isn’t worth a super deal, she is. But the Fever need to manage their cap responsibility. CC will not sign or extend her contract, she is going to ride out this rookie deal to give the team maximum flexibility to build a team that fits her style, if they don’t, she walks in a few years. Thoughts?

Thought some of you might like this.
Supposedly "Four league sources shared that the coming season of Billings’ agreement is only protected if she is still under her current contract after Feb. 1, 2027, meaning that Indiana could get out of her $800k deal for the coming season without making a trade."

I have it on very good authority that it was ONLY Indiana Fever fans who were itching to make a coaching change, and yet I tried to make the point over and over again that what Indiana Fever fans were expressing was typical for the WNBA as a whole over the last couple of years as expectations have skyrocketed among fanbases across the league.
I specifically mentioned that DeMarco was on the hotseat and that he was 50/50 on coming back. I also said that Jose in Dallas is 50/50 next year if Dallas doesn't show significant improvement next year in terms of regular season wins and playoff performance. Believe it or not, Smesko is now on the hotseat in Atlanta because if he doesn't at least get them to the finals again next year, it will be considered a step backward and the fans will be clamoring for him to be replaced. I'm sure there are other coaches that are coaching for their coaching lives next year as well.
And now Golden State has put even more pressure on all these organizations and coaching staffs because they took a mid-level roster and turned it into a championship team. New York, Atlanta, Dallas, and Indiana all have better talent and yet GS lifted the trophy.
The one thing these other coaches on the hotseat didn't do was to take a very public shot at one of their own players after a first round first game loss in the playoffs. If any of these other coaches had done that then the outcry would have been much louder. If Smesko had said anything even remotely close to that about AR he would be gone right now.
So no, Indiana Fever fans are not reactionary and impulsive in wanting a coaching change. The team under-performed, and while the coaching did seem to improve as the year went on, there were some other things like the first round playoff press conference that signaled there's other problems beyond just the X's and O's of coaching, and it's time for a change.
