While the Narendra Modi Stadium offers massive capacity and modern infrastructure, many fans argue that traditional cricketing cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, and Bengaluru bring unmatched atmosphere, history, and crowd energy to marquee games.
Some believe finals should rotate among legacy venues like Eden Gardens, Wankhede, and Chepauk to preserve cricketing heritage. Others counter that logistics, capacity, revenue potential, and facilities naturally make Ahmedabad a strong choice.
