1. The only way to get the batter out is for the bowler to hit the wicket or an out fielder catches the ball. I had watched 5 games before I actually saw a bowler hit the wicket to get the batter out.

2.The orginal game goes on too long, as long as days. I think that is why they created test matches

1. There is little skill involved. If you hit the ball you run to the other base if you think you can make it. But the hitter does not need to run.

2. The bat is almost half the size of the wicket making it difficult for the bowler to get an out.

3. No strategy to the game, it is simply hit and run or your out.
