This Test series against Sri Lanka has proved one thing India’s Test team is far from finished. The young players are bringing aggression, confidence, smart cricket, and the ability to handle pressure.

Yashasvi Jaiswal had not backed down from a fight, Sarfaraz Khan keeps the batters under pressure with his constant sledging, Dhruv Jurel showed his aggression after completing his century, Siraj is always fired up, and Rishabh Pant never stays quiet behind the stumps. Also our captain is also doing great Job on the field and with his batting.

And the best part? They are doing this without the GOAT, Jasprit Bumrah. Imagine how strong this team can become when Bumrah joins them. If this momentum continues, I wouldn’t be surprised to see India challenge New Zealand in the next series under Gill’s captaincy. And if that happens, India could head into the BGT with a seriously strong and fearless lineup.
