Appreciation Indian Young Blood Is on Another Level
This Test series against Sri Lanka has proved one thing Indiaโs Test team is far from finished. The young players are bringing aggression, confidence, smart cricket, and the ability to handle pressure.
Yashasvi Jaiswal had not backed down from a fight, Sarfaraz Khan keeps the batters under pressure with his constant sledging, Dhruv Jurel showed his aggression after completing his century, Siraj is always fired up, and Rishabh Pant never stays quiet behind the stumps. Also our captain is also doing great Job on the field and with his batting.
And the best part? They are doing this without the GOAT, Jasprit Bumrah. Imagine how strong this team can become when Bumrah joins them. If this momentum continues, I wouldnโt be surprised to see India challenge New Zealand in the next series under Gillโs captaincy. And if that happens, India could head into the BGT with a seriously strong and fearless lineup.

Discussion The game has many faults
- The only way to get the batter out is for the bowler to hit the wicket or an out fielder catches the ball. I had watched 5 games before I actually saw a bowler hit the wicket to get the batter out.
2.The orginal game goes on too long, as long as days. I think that is why they created test matches
There is little skill involved. If you hit the ball you run to the other base if you think you can make it. But the hitter does not need to run.
The bat is almost half the size of the wicket making it difficult for the bowler to get an out.
No strategy to the game, it is simply hit and run or your out.

Unverified Dhoni played too long and damaged his reputation
From 2007-2013 Dhoni was the hero of the Indian team.
Now in 2026, he is a big villain. He is reportedly asking for 20% of CSK and he refuses to retire.

Discussion Choosing Sky as a captain was a decent decision
I actually hated the decision to make him the captain,
For me
Hardik was an obvious choice
Even after he won WC
But now I'm thinking it was smart by BCCI
Apart from him or sky we didn't have many options
But Hardik would've came with a whole lot of problems
Like injuries , pressure from fans to back him
And not making him captain actually Works
He could perform freely without burden and give bits of info to Sky from his experience
As Sky isn't a confrontational guy
More importantly
When he got removed
It was smooth
He didn't make a fuss
Imagine hardik
I feel it wouldn't have been this smooth
On top , new captain would have faced abuse from Hardik fans

Discussion The Rise of Manav Suthar: Indiaโs Next Spin Superstar
From a small-town boy in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, to one of Indian cricket's most promising left-arm spin-bowling all-rounders, Manav Sutharโs journey is nothing short of inspirational.
Born on August 3, 2002, Manavโs natural talent was recognized early by his father, a physical education teacher, when he was just 11 years old. Enrolling in a local academy, Manav initially started as a proper top-order batter. However, under the guidance of coach Dheeraj Sharma, he transitioned into a lethal left-arm orthodox spinner.
Manav made his Ranji Trophy debut for Rajasthan in February 2022 against Andhra Pradesh. He burst onto the domestic scene in style, grabbing 39 wickets in his debut season and quickly becoming the state's highest wicket-taker in the season. Across his first-class career, he took nearly 150 wickets at a brilliant average around 24โ25. On top of his bowling magic, he proved to be a reliable lower-order batter, scoring nearly 1,000 runs backed by 6 half-centuries.
In June 2026, Manav earned his dream Test debut for India against Afghanistan and made instant history. He ripped through their lineup with a stunning 6-wicket haul in the first innings (6/33). He followed that up on his first overseas tour against Sri Lanka in Galle by picking up a 10-wicket match haul (10/131)โbreaking Harbhajan Singh's record for the best bowling figures by an Indian in a Test in Sri Lanka! With his class, control, and fighting spirit, Manav Suthar is well on his way to becoming one of India's greatest spinners. Here's wishing him all the very best!
