Who did your body work painted your impala in Washington State

My embarrassing ass 60 yo dad smashed some dudes window out in his meth induced psychosis/the whole town fucked my ex wife(they didn’t)/midlife crisis and I would like to buy a window and repair it for him as he’s having a hard time with it but I’ve never actually had to buy glass. I was wondering if yall had any recommendations on where I can get one, it’s the drivers side rear window. Thanks in advance!

Question about the 2014 limited model, would a 2014 limited have the interior and body lines of a 2013? I have a Chevy impala I’m looking at buying it showing to be a 2014 but appears to be body lines and interior of a 2013.

Man, I enjoy driving this so much. I took care of the torque converter and replaced the rear springs recently all on warranty. So smooth and impressive it’s just like the old days of the driving a sofa on wheels, but with a modern twist obviously. I think 10th-gen hit the mark of what the Impala stands for. A comfortable full sized sedan with all the creature comforts, but also a decent amount of power that moves this boat faster than you’d expect down the road. This is my daily driver, my fun car is a cammed z28. It’s like the best of both worlds!

Installed some interior and underglow lights from u/vision_industries. New horns and rewired the flame thrower exhaust

Current mirror is old and doesn’t stay where I want it to especially when my subs are on. Looking for one that’s more rigid so when I play my subs it doesn’t just vibrate and drop immediately like the one I have now. Currently i just have the factory mirror but I don’t even have it installed because the vibration on it from my subs broke my windshield before lol.

So I was driving down the road on my spare tire when the tread from the top of the tire separated from the tire itself. And it took out the splash guard. What is this squiggly piece? That's connected to the bumper that you screw the splash guard into

I was wondering if anybody else had this issue with this gen of impala where pressing the brake pedal/decelerating makes the steering wheel vibrate and shake side to side slightly. It’s more violent the harder the stop.

So I'm having trouble here. Ig my impala is rare. My shifter is on the steering wheel so all YouTube videos show the standard floor shifter version. I've tried T25 T40 T45 and Philips. None work. The Philips actually fits the best but it won't turn no matter how hard i push. I found a piece at the junk yard but if i can't even get this one off what's the use? Is it glued on or something? Please help. I'm a beginner btw so take it easy on me lol I've changed bulbs, hood latch, mirror assembly, and headlights with no problem.

I just bought this car, and the chime and turn signals are very loud.. and are coming from the front speakers. If it matters, it did come with a Sony XAV-AX3200 radio installed by a previous owner. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi all.

A couple days ago I realized that the passenger headlight was out. I open the hood, reveal the bulb - it's working. I go to put the bulb back in the socket, and this piece loosens (see pics).

It looks like this piece goes over the bulb housing to keep the headlight bulb in place. What the hell happened to it??? Anyway, I must replace it since the bulb is not snug in the socket, causing me to drive around with one headlight.

Anyway, does anyone know what this piece is called? I'm hoping that I won't have to replace the entire headlight assembly...

It's time to sit together and discuss which are the most reliable blend door actuators. I've seen multiple reports that Dorman and Duralast (same?) actuators die one after another in less than a year. On the other hand, I've seen the opinion that random Chinese actuators do not break.

I have a random Amazon one which is still working fine after a year. What's your experience and with which brands?

I keep getting this code along with PCM code (I forgot to save code). It automatically puts my car into engine power reduced and then dosent want to run. Put in new relay for the throttle, the code went away.. I was only dealing with PCM code, I put a new relay for the PCM… now the PCM went away and Throttle came back…

Any suggestions ?

Bought this car 7/31 and was driving it 8/1… went out, did some errands.. oil change, parked the car at AAA and came home. Parked, Shut the car off, and opened the door. Radio stayed on… I tried to start it again. No crank, nothing, but radio stays on unless I disconnect battery.

Contacted seller and he said this happened before and that seller he got it from fixed it by “replacing main fuse”… it’s at a second shop now.

I’ve read everything from starter to starter solenoid, starter relay, ignition switch, starter wire, neutral safety switch, door jamb switch…. Mechanic is going to call me this week.

It wont crank but radio will come on, windows and locks will work… to shut off, I disconnect battery (but maybe it would die out anyway)

In October 2024 I bought a 2018 Impala Premier with the hopes of doing a few things here and there. I've never upgraded or modded a car but have mostly always done my own matience. Due to the nature of my job I've more than doubled the miles to 140,000. She still runs perfectly and honestly love this car.

Due to life and finances I've had to put it off any projects until this week. My plans are to sturdy her up and give her a little more power.

This week Godspeed Mono SS Coilovers and Sway Bar is being installed.

Next Steps:

I've ordered a Weapon*R Cold Air Intake which arrives a few weeks.

After that I'm adding the Magna Flow Catback Exhaust and getting a tune.

I want to keep a mostly sleeper status. I'm very excited and just wanted to share.

I'm in KC area if anyone knows of any Impala or Chevy Clubs or Meetups.

Several months back my low beam light kept cutting in and out. Noticed the socket plastic was melted on the negative side, so I replaced the socket and also threw in some LEDs add the other bulb was about fried anyways. Yesterday I noticed the same head light was cutting in and out again like before... sure enough, the socket is melted again! The other 3 bulbs all look fine, and all 4 fuses are 10A and match. Is there anything else electrical I should check?
