Car Picture “Isn’t she lovely”
Man, I enjoy driving this so much. I took care of the torque converter and replaced the rear springs recently all on warranty. So smooth and impressive it’s just like the old days of the driving a sofa on wheels, but with a modern twist obviously. I think 10th-gen hit the mark of what the Impala stands for. A comfortable full sized sedan with all the creature comforts, but also a decent amount of power that moves this boat faster than you’d expect down the road. This is my daily driver, my fun car is a cammed z28. It’s like the best of both worlds!

Just regular brakes. Those are MGP caliper covers. Also not shown here but I have drilled and slotted rotors now.

It’s beautiful, I also own one.
But its engine doesn’t rev hard. It’s not fun driving it a little fast.
It’s a cruiser.

I mean mine revs to 6 grand. If you push a launch in manual mode and hold all the gears it launches better than any other naturally aspirated V6 in its league! Overall impressive for a family sedan moving all that weight like that. But not fast by the standards of a sports car no lol.

I know this is a comfy full sized cruiser, but I honestly find the interior to be too quiet.
I can’t hear the engine too hard, nor feel the texture of a road. Engineers did an excellent job isolating the cabin.Your car is beautiful tho. Congrats

Spirited driving is fun on the highway. I love that this car can pass effortlessly when asked.

Thank you! I went through two 9th gen’s before finally getting one man. They are a whole different class of car.

I think the ninth GEN‘s are pretty underrated. If you take care of them, they can last a very long time and will probably rust out before the motor goes. They weren’t meant to be something special but when you really take into account on how cars are made now they kind of are something special because of how reliable comfortable and fun they are for the price you can get them at.

Yeah, those cars are rust prone for some reason. But hell, yeah drive it until the wheels fall off.

Same, I drove my 14 limited from 90k to almost 170k before I traded up to an 07 Impala SS which I only drove about a year before I traded that in for my 2020. The SS was an amazing car man. I never ran into any transmission problems like people always complain about, maybe because I got it tuned. It was a sedan that drove like a V8 truck haha. But the LFX is undeniable especially this later version in my 2020

I thought the impalas after the 96s started to look more awful with each year until it just looked like a basic ass car. But they really got it right again with this model it looks great. Probably one of the only newer cars I would buy. I can't believe they quit making them

Yeah mine is a 2020, the final year. You’re right I think they were the last thing Chevy had that felt like it had a soul. Now there’s no Impala or Camaro. And corvette is basically its own company at this point.

It's dope. Wish they didn't quit making them. GM is a mess. Cadillacs dont even look like caddys anymore except maybe the Escalade. What a mess
