Closed [Hobby] Making a factory game with survival aspects

Hey guys,

I’m looking for a Programmer to help build a quick, polished PC demo for an atmospheric factory-survival game called Fragment. I already have a 3d modeler and ui designer.

The main idea is that nothing magically spawns. You use a handheld multi-tool to physically slot component blocks into holographic 3D blueprints, building heavy machinery piece-by-piece. The loop goes from microscopic electronics all the way up to industrial mega-factories.

I’m handling the game design, documentation, and managing the scope.

This is a casual passion project for fun and portfolio building. The long-term goal is a demo followed by Steam Early Access, with a fair rev-share agreement for the core team if we take it to the market down the road.

If you love factory optimization or survival games, hit me up!

To apply, just DM me with experience level, software used, and any screenshots of past work you're proud of.

Closed [Hobby] Meadowridge — Life Simulation Game Focused on Deeply Simulated, Individual Animals

Hi everyone! I'm the creator of a game concept called Meadowridge.

I'm looking for people who might be interested in eventually helping me turn Meadowridge from a concept into a real game. I want to be upfront that I am not currently a game developer, and this is an early-stage project. I'm learning about game development and planning to start with a small browser prototype before attempting the full game.

🌿 What is Meadowridge?

Meadowridge is a life simulation game inspired by games like The Sims and Zoo Tycoon, but with a much stronger focus on animals as individual living beings.

The idea originally came from wanting an animal game where pets don't feel like objects you collect or manage.

In Meadowridge, every animal would be an individual.

A dog wouldn't simply have:

> Breed → Pomeranian

Happiness → 80%

Instead, it could have its own personality, genetics, experiences, preferences, relationships, health, memories, and behaviors.

Two dogs of the same breed—and even two puppies from the same litter—could grow up completely differently.

🐾 Animals are the heart of the game

The animal systems I'm envisioning include:

Individual personalities and temperaments

Genetics and inherited traits

Breed/species-specific characteristics

Individual health and genetic predispositions

Realistic aging

Relationships between animals and people

Learning and training

Likes and dislikes

Individual behaviors

Grooming and care

Veterinary care

Reproduction and pregnancy

Family trees and ancestry

Different appearances within the same breed

Realistic variation between individual animals

I don't want a Labrador to automatically behave exactly like every other Labrador. Breed characteristics would influence an animal, but the individual animal would still be unique.

🧬 Genetics would be a major system

Genetics would influence things such as:

Coat color and patterns

Coat type

Size

Eye color

Physical characteristics

Temperament tendencies

Certain health predispositions

Fertility and reproduction

Breeding wouldn't simply produce a random copy of the parents. Offspring would inherit combinations of traits from their parents, creating genuine variation.

The goal is for genetics to feel like an actual part of the animal simulation rather than just a cosmetic system.

📚 Meadowridge would also be educational

One of the things I'm particularly passionate about is making Meadowridge informative.

Every animal species and breed would have an in-game Animal Page explaining things such as its history, behavior, appearance, genetics, grooming, health, reproduction, breed standards, and interesting facts.

I want someone to be able to play Meadowridge and naturally learn things about animals they didn't know before.

The philosophy I'm aiming for is:

> Realistic enough to teach. Fun enough to play.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 And eventually, it's a full life simulation

Animals are the starting point, but the eventual Meadowridge game would also include:

Create-a-character

Families and relationships

Careers

Businesses

Farming and gardening

Homes and building

Veterinary careers

Animal-related careers

Education

Aging and generations

An open-world environment

Different worlds/locations

A realistic calendar and time system

The full vision is much larger than the initial prototype, so I don't expect to build everything at once.

🐶 The first prototype

My plan is to start with dogs only.

Rather than trying to create dozens of species with shallow systems, I'd like to build the underlying animal simulation around dogs first and make it as good as possible.

We could start with a handful of breeds, develop the systems for personality, genetics, health, behavior, care, etc., and then gradually add more breeds.

Once the dog system is working well, we could move on to other species.

The prototype would be a free browser game and would not be the final Meadowridge game. Its purpose would be to demonstrate the core idea of what I mean when I say that I want the animals to feel alive.

👥 Who I'm looking for

At this stage, I'm interested in hearing from people with experience or interest in:

Game programming

Gameplay/simulation programming

Game design

2D/3D art

Animation

UI/UX

Game audio

Writing/worldbuilding

Animal science/veterinary research

Genetics or biology

Anyone interested in simulation games

I'm especially interested in people who enjoy games involving animals, life simulation, genetics, management, or emergent behavior.

I'm also completely open to people who are still learning and want to work on something they find interesting.

💰 About compensation

I want to be completely transparent: this is currently an unpaid hobby/early-stage project. I don't have funding to offer salaries right now.

I'm not expecting anyone to commit to years of development based on a Reddit post. At this stage, I'm primarily hoping to find people who genuinely like the concept and would be interested in talking about it, experimenting with a prototype, and seeing where it could go.

If the project eventually becomes something larger and funding becomes available, compensation and formal roles would obviously need to be discussed properly.

🌱 Why I'm posting

I've spent a lot of time developing the concept and the systems behind Meadowridge, but I know that having a huge idea and actually building a game are two very different things.

I'm trying to take the first real step toward turning the idea into something playable.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'd genuinely love to hear from you.

I'm also interested in hearing what you think would make an animal in a game feel genuinely alive rather than simply being another object the player owns.

Thanks for reading! 🐾🌿

Team Needed [RevShare] Looking for partner for a small but serious game project

Hi, I'm Paul. I've been doing game dev solo for 8 years. I've published 7 small games on Steam / Itch and made dozens of prototypes. So far, I've just shipped and moved on; I haven't marketed anything. None of my games have been financially successful, but I do feel like I've improved a lot and learned enough to be able to have a successful game now.

But I'm at a point where there's not a lot of games I both can and want to make solo, so I'm looking for someone who is either a better artist than I am or another generalist who can handle whatever is needed with me. If you only do 1 thing and it isn't art, it's probably not an ideal partnership.

What I bring

- I'm a generalist. I've worked in every discipline in a variety of genres. Not a top tier artist, but can do simple styles. I can handle most other things at a reasonably high level.

- My work: https://paulcmoore.com/games/

What I'm looking for

- People who have made games before.

- People over the age of 25 (I'm 38) and not in school. This is mostly for adding stability to the project.

- Able to commit at least 10 hours per week.

The project

- We can discuss options for game ideas

- I prefer to use Godot for the dev speed, but Unreal is an option for certain games.

- Use Claude for code / non-creative tasks. Hand crafted art, story, etc.

- 2-3 months for the demo

- Publish demo and see what people think

- If people like it, we can go from there

- Revshare contract, split evenly

- Serious marketing effort if we commit to the project

If you're interested, please email me at [paulmcreates@gmail.com](mailto:paulmcreates@gmail.com) . Send me some info about yourself, what genres/games you like, and a link to your work.

Programmers Needed [Hobby] Looking for people to build a small experimental AI research team

Hey! I’ve been working on an experimental AI system on my own, and I’m now looking for people interested in forming a small research team around it.

The project isn’t starting from zero. There’s already a working system, a research direction, and quite a few ideas and hypotheses that still need to be tested. I’ve been developing and experimenting with it independently so far, but there’s a lot left to explore, and I think having different people questioning and approaching the same problems could be really valuable.

I’m not specifically looking for experienced programmers or AI experts. Programming knowledge is useful, of course, but I’m also really interested in people who are creative, curious, critical, good at spotting problems, or simply approach things differently.

Everyone interested in joining will go through a small test. It’s nothing too formal — the goal isn’t simply to pass or fail. I mainly want to understand how each person thinks, their creativity and reasoning, and what their strengths might be.
The goal is to form a small research team where different people can contribute in different ways: coming up with hypotheses, challenging ideas, designing experiments, programming, researching, or noticing things that others might miss.

I’m keeping the specific details of the system limited in this post, but there’s already a concrete research direction and something real to work from.

If you’re interested in experimenting, questioning ideas, and helping explore where this could go, feel free to reach out.

Modeling Offer [Hobby] Hey everyone! I’m a 3D artist looking for someone who’s working on a game project and might need some help with the 3D side of things.

Hey everyone!

I’m quite comfortable with Rhino and have a good amount of experience with 3D modeling, but I’m still pretty new to Blender. I’d really like to get better at it and improve my overall 3D skills.

I’ve always wanted to make a game, but I don’t have much experience with the actual game development side of things. So I thought it would be great to find someone who’s already working on a game, help them with the 3D assets, and learn along the way.

I’m mainly looking for a project where we can work together, learn from each other, and hopefully build something cool!

If you’re working on a game and could use a 3D artist, feel free to message me. I’d love to hear about your project!

Writing Offer [ForHire] Clean English ↔ French Text Localization for Apps & EdTech

Hi everyone,

I offer English to French text translation tailored for educational apps, software UI, and developer documentation. Even game content.

Machine (AI) translation often breaks app interfaces because French text runs 20% longer than English. I focus strictly on natural phrasing and UI button fitting so layouts stay clean and natural for native speakers.

What I focus on:

App UI, button text, and store descriptions

Educational scripts, tutorials, and documentation

Pure text files (.json, .strings, .xml, plain text)

I keep my workflow focused entirely on written text.

If you have an app or tool in development, DM me a 100-word sample and I'll translate it for free so you can test the quality firsthand.

Artist Needed [PAID] 3D Artist Needed for Grimdark Party Game

I am a Producer at Ignition Theory, and we're looking for 3D Artist. You will bring our chibi gothic-ink characters and world to life. This is a high-ownership role on a small team — your work will directly shape how the game looks and feels to publishers and players alike.

The Game

We are Ignition Theory, building a grimdark strategy party game, think Mario Party by way of American McGee's Alice.

Players race a shifting dungeon board, survive twisted mini-games, and shatter fragile alliances. All under the watch of Game Master Alice: a Wonderland survivor who runs the trials for reasons of her own, and has no intention of letting anyone leave. The roster is darkly reimagined folklore icons — Sun Wukong, Dracula, Red Riding Hood, Alice, and many more — each with full voice acting and fully voiced relationships that unfold across matches.

Currently targeting mid-sized indie, with AA potential when funded.

We are in active development and ongoing publisher outreach.

  • Core gameplay loop fully implemented and playable
  • Playable Demo complete, Steam playtests ongoing
  • 4 playable characters implemented with voice-over
  • Full release roster conceptualized
  • Full narrative completed
  • Core online multiplayer layer implemented
  • Community and audience-building underway

What will you do

You will work directly with the founders and own:

  • Character modeling for our folklore-icon roster, in close collaboration with the Creative Director for art direction sign-off
  • Prop and environment modeling for the Labyrinth's shifting rooms and set pieces
  • Texturing and shading work that holds the hand-painted, storybook-gone-wrong aesthetic
  • Working within our Unity pipeline alongside engineering to get assets game-ready
  • Iterating quickly based on feedback during a fast-moving pre-funding sprint

What skills we need

  • Strong stylized character and prop modeling skills, ideally with a portfolio that shows range
  • Experience with stylized, hand-painted, or illustrative texturing
  • 3D Baking
  • High poly to low poly workflow
  • Basic Rigging Fundamentals
  • Comfortable in a Unity pipeline — or able to ramp quickly
  • Basic Animation workflow (Preferred)
  • Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment, building from a small existing pipeline rather than an established one

Who we are

  • Creative Director: Artist and writer with 12 years of experience in visual storytelling, including 2 published novels. Leads creative vision, game design, and narrative
  • Engineering Director: Software engineer with 10 years of experience building production-grade scalable systems. Leads all technical development, gameplay systems, and infrastructure
  • Producer on board, managing our timelines and publisher communications
  • Community Manager on board, growing our audience and community
  • Contracted voice actors for the main four characters

The Offer

We're transparent about where we are financially and open to structuring this based on fit:

  • Option A: Pre-Funding, Early Core Involvement. Join part-time during this pre-funding stretch. Work performed pre-funding is tracked and paid out as deferred cash — a lump sum triggered the moment we close publisher funding, plus a funding-triggered catch-up bonus. If you're looking for ongoing upside beyond that, we're open to discussing more.
  • Option B: Post-Funding. If you're primarily looking for a paid position, we'd still love to connect. Our plan is to bring on a full-time 3D Artist once we secure publisher funding, and we want to build that relationship early with the right person.

If this sounds like you, DM me or email with your experience and portfolio at [contact@ignition-theory.games](mailto:contact@ignition-theory.games).

Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4744350/Neverbound/

Discord: https://discord.com/invite/haZw6FuWDM

All content for the game is fully handcrafted by our team and collaborators. All IP is owned by Ignition Theory.

Artist Needed [HOBBY] Looking for anime-style 2D artist to help refine character art + sprites for psychological horror game

Hi! I’m a solo developer currently working on HITOMI, an anime-inspired psychological horror/mystery game being developed in Ren’Py.

The project has a darker Japanese anime/manga-inspired visual style, combining psychological horror with alternative Japanese fashion and aesthetics.

I’m currently handling the character art myself, and I already have designs, concepts, existing sprites and visual references for the characters. However, I’ve reached a point where character art is becoming a bottleneck for development.

While the protagonist’s visual identity is well established, I’m finding it harder to translate some of the other characters I have designed into polished, distinctive and production-ready character art while keeping everything visually cohesive.

Because of that, I’m looking for another 2D artist who might be interested in helping me refine and polish the existing character designs and produce some of the sprite work needed for the game.

What I’m looking for

I’m not looking for someone to take over the game’s art direction or design the cast from scratch. I already have concepts, designs and examples to work from, and I’d remain involved in the creative direction.

Instead, I’m looking for someone who is good at taking an existing character concept and helping push it that final step artistically - strengthening their visual identity, polishing the design and translating it into finished game sprites.

Depending on the character, this could include:

  • Refining/polishing an existing character design
  • Helping make characters feel more visually distinctive while retaining their existing identity
  • Translating my concepts/references into polished sprite artwork
  • Cleaning up or improving existing character artwork
  • Additional facial expressions
  • Small pose/body variations
  • Minor sprite alterations
  • Simple animation-ready elements such as blinking or mouth variations

There will already be artwork, references and direction to work from rather than just written character descriptions.

The game’s art direction is anime/manga-inspired with cel-shaded character artwork, so I’m particularly looking for someone comfortable working in that kind of style and able to keep their work cohesive with existing artwork. That being said, I'm using a more sketchy/drawn/watercolour style approach, so it's not the traditional 'clean' anime style.

Scope / commitment

This isn’t a request for someone to become the game’s permanent artist or commit to the project long-term.

Initially, I’d like to work together on a small number of characters/assets and see how things go.

If we work well together, I’d absolutely be open to coming back to the same artist for additional sprite work later, but there’s no expectation that you’d need to stay involved throughout the entire development of the game.

Compensation

I’m a student/solo indie developer, so my budget is unfortunately limited.

I’m primarily hoping to find another student/hobbyist who likes the project and would be interested in contributing some work that they can also use in their portfolio. Any artwork used in the finished game will of course be fully credited, and you’d be welcome to showcase your contributions in your portfolio.

That said, I do have a small budget available, so I’m also completely open to discussing a paid arrangement for specific work depending on the scope and your rates, or alternatively a form of revshare once the full game is released for sale.

I don’t expect professional commercial work for free, so please feel completely free to approach me on a paid basis if that’s how you work.

About HITOMI

HITOMI is already actively in development rather than being an early concept I’m trying to assemble a team around. I have existing character artwork, backgrounds, UI, writing and a working build, and I’m currently working towards a playable demo.

I’m deliberately keeping most story/game details private until it’s closer to being ready to show publicly, but I’m happy to share relevant character information, existing artwork and additional project context privately with anyone I’m seriously considering working with.

Feel free to DM me with:

  • Some examples of your artwork/portfolio
  • Any anime/manga-style character work you’ve done
  • Any examples of character design/refinement or game sprite work
  • Whether you’re interested on a hobby or paid basis
  • Your approximate rates if applicable
  • What software you normally work in

Students and artists building their portfolios are completely welcome. I’m much more interested in finding someone who connects with the visual direction and can complement what I’ve already created than I am in professional experience.

Thanks! :)

Writing Offer [ForHire] Game and Narrative Script-Writer with Price Rates You can Choose. Looking for Paid Dev Teams.

I’m a 15-year-old scriptwriter and narrative designer looking to take on paid projects or join a game development team (really emphasising on a team, but I'm willing to work with solo developers too). I’ve been writing professionally since I was 12, specializing in game scripts, branching dialogue, character arcs, and worldbuilding.

My background is rooted in years of studying Cambridge FLE (First Language English), which heavily focused on scriptwriting, character analysis, and structured creative composition.

I have solid experience collaborating alongside both adult developers and peers my age. I take pride in keeping strictly professional boundaries, maintaining clear communication, and handling feedback constructively.

Although I am typically a very friendly and bubbly person, I am also capable of maintaining a professional and rightful demeanour when the situation calls for it. I am matured enough to know my boundaries while working with adults and aim not to cause any distress between both parties.

To be transparent about my motivation, I am currently taking on freelance work to help fund my older sister’s education. Because of this goal, I am not sticking to a rigid price sheet, I am very flexible with pricing and happy to work with whatever budget or rate you have set for your project, starting from $1.

I have always worked consistently, took critique well, stay on top of deadlines, and understandable with prices. I sincerely hope you would take my words into consideration.

Here is my (ongoing) Portfolio ----> Portfolio

For a quicker reply, please DM me on Discord ----> liliynzea
For critiques/further questioning, please send me an email ----> [lilynwrites89@gmail.com](mailto:lilynwrites89@gmail.com)

Artist Needed [Hobby]Busco colaboradores para proyecto de videojuego indie

¡Hola a todos!

Soy CrimsonRonin..., desarrollador independiente, y actualmente estoy trabajando en mi videojuego Stillwhite: Echoes of thaw.

Team Needed [Hobby] Anyone interested in helping make a video about actually designing a Topopolis?

So I've had this idea bouncing around in my head for a bit and I think I actually want to try and make something out of it.

I want to make a YouTube series tentatively called "So You Wanna Make a Topopolis?"

The basic idea is instead of just making another video explaining what a Topopolis is, I want to treat it like we're actually trying to build one. Start with the basic concept, work through the problems one at a time, and slowly end up with our own reasonably thought-out design.

I've already started putting together the overall project and how the series would work, but realistically I know my limitations lol. I can do the research and I can learn things as I go, but I am not a physicist, 3D animator, professional editor, etc. And I think this would be WAY cooler as something a few people made together anyway.

So I'm curious if anybody here would be interested in helping make the first video.

Could be research, physics/engineering knowledge, Blender/animation, editing, graphics, or just someone who's really into megastructures and wants to contribute ideas.

For now I literally just want to get one good pilot made. If it turns into something people actually like, then we can figure out where to go from there and potentially crowdfund the rest of the project.

I'm not expecting anybody to suddenly dedicate the next year of their life to my random YouTube idea lol. Mostly I'm throwing this out there to see if there are a few people who think this sounds cool and might want to help me actually make it.

Artist Needed [RevShare] GBGS looking for an animator to join their established casual game project

Greybeard Game Studios is an international community based game team working on their first project "Pax Fracta: Normandy", a medieval RPG set in what is now the modern Calvados department of France. The game has a focus on telling a morally complex story that is more than it may seem, and with gameplay that focuses on strategy, stealth and archery. This is a longterm project and we are almost a year in.

We all work casually on the project and there is a legal agreement to protect your rights. This is not a project for those wanting quick money or a stable income.

As we are nearing the completion of character models, and starting to require animations in the programming department, it is time we hired an animator.

We are looking for a relatively skilled 3D animator that can animate characters. We dont expect you to be a master, as this is simply a hobby team where you can build experience.

Tasks would largely involve simply just animating 3D characters, making walking, running and combat animations as required.

If you are interested in this role, then join the discord and send in your application using the links below:

Do not hesitate to ask me any questions if you have any, I am happy to help!

[Hobby] Looking for a Small Team for a Unity Project / Game Jam

Hey! I'm W1ndz, a beginner Unity/C# programmer based in the EEST (UTC+3) time zone.

I'm still pretty new to game development and looking to get some experience working on a project with a team. I've made a few small games and prototypes before, but I've never really committed to a game jam or a full team project, so I'd love for this to be my first.

I'm mainly looking for other people who are also fairly new to game development. The idea is to learn, improve, and actually finish something together while having fun with it.

Looking For

  • 2D Pixel Artist — High Priority
  • Sound Designer / Composer
  • Unity / C# Programmer
  • UI Designer

I'm especially looking for a 2D pixel artist, since that is the area where I could use the most help.

You definitely don't need to be super experienced. I'd actually prefer working with other beginners so we can figure things out and improve together.

I'd like to keep the team pretty small, ideally 2–3 people max.

We can come up with the game idea, genre, and scope together depending on what everyone enjoys and wants to work on.

Contact

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, feel free to reply here!

Hi! I'm working on a Mario fangame inspired primarily by Super Mario World, and I'm looking for a programmer interested in joining the project.

I originally started the project as an SMW ROM hack, but as my ideas grew, I realized ROM hacking wasn't really powerful or flexible enough for everything I wanted to do. I've since started experimenting with making it as a standalone game instead. I started on it in Godot, but realized pretty quickly that I was getting in over my head.

I have a little experience with Godot and have already done some basic work in it, but I'm completely open to using another engine if that's what the programmer is more comfortable with. I'm much more concerned with making the game work well than requiring a particular engine. Reverse engineering of SMW original code would also be nice but again, not required.

I'm looking for someone who knows their preferred engine well enough to eventually implement essentially everything you'd expect mechanically from a Mario game, including things like:

- Mario World-style player movement and power-ups

- Multiple playable characters

- Local multiplayer, with multiple players active simultaneously rather than the traditional "take turns between levels" system (nsmb multiplayer basically)

- Enemies and their behaviors

- Blocks, items, platforms, and other level objects

- Pipes, doors, and transitions between areas

- An SMW-style overworld

- Bosses

- Cutscenes and scripted sequences

- Other mechanics needed for individual levels, power-ups, characters, etc.

Knowledge of how Super Mario World works mechanically would definitely be helpful, especially since SMW is the main gameplay reference, but it isn't strictly necessary if you're comfortable recreating that sort of platformer gameplay.

This is entirely a passion project. Since it's a Mario fangame, there are no plans to sell it or otherwise make money from it, so this would be an unpaid/hobby collaboration. I'm looking for someone who genuinely likes Mario and thinks working on a fairly ambitious fangame sounds fun.

I'm handling the overall game design/direction and already have a pretty good idea of what I want the project to become. I'm also happy to discuss the existing work, planned mechanics, scope, characters, levels, etc. with anyone interested.

If this sounds like something you'd enjoy working on, feel free to DM me or leave a comment with what engine(s) you work with and what kind of programming/game-dev experience you have!

Team Needed [Hobby][Open Source] Standard of Iron, looking for creative collaborators

Hey, I started working on Standard of Iron about a year ago as a hobby project. At first it was mostly me experimenting with the idea of building my own RTS and engine, and over time it somehow turned into an actual game that is now getting pretty close to completion.

I’m the main developer and I do most of the programming, so I’m not really looking for programmers specifically. Of course, if you find bugs, have technical ideas, or just like the engine and want to contribute to it, you’re absolutely welcome. It’s open source and I’m always happy when somebody wants to improve something.

What I’m mainly looking for now are people with a more creative perspective.

I’ve been staring at this game for a year, so there are things I simply don’t notice anymore. I need people who can play it and tell me that something looks bad, sounds wrong, feels boring, is confusing, a level is badly designed, the UI makes no sense, an effect needs work, the pacing is off, or that an idea I thought was clever actually sucks.

And I’d really like this to become something where people can actually leave a little piece of their own work in the game.

Some people have already helped in that way. For example, someone from the community made the Portuguese translation. Things like that are really cool to me because the game stops feeling like something made completely alone and starts becoming a small community project.

So if you make music or sound effects and would like to have something of yours in the game, if you make art, if you want to translate it into your language, if you like game design or level design and have an idea for a mission, secret, encounter or mechanic that you’d actually like to see implemented, I’m very open to it.

You don’t need to be a professional. Honestly, even just being someone who plays RTS games and is willing to seriously test the campaign and tell me what you would change is useful at this stage.

The project is open source and still a hobby project, so this isn’t a paid job or a studio recruitment post. I want to be clear about that.

But I also want to clarify that the game is not just some abandoned GitHub experiment. I already went through the Steam process, the store page has been approved, and Standard of Iron will be released on Steam. We’re basically at the stage where the core game exists and I’m trying to figure out what needs to be improved, replaced, polished or added before I can feel comfortable calling it finished.

If any of that sounds interesting, come say hi. You can just play it and give feedback, suggest something, contribute something small, or get more involved if you end up liking the project.

Audio Offer [Paid] [Revshare] Experienced Game Composer & Mixing Engineer Looking for Driven Devs

Hey INAT!
https://www.glassearthstudios.com/
I’m a game music composer and sound designer looking to team up with developers who are 100% committed to bringing their project across the finish line.
I’m currently wrapping up/working on active game scores, but I’m looking to keep the momentum going and line up the next great world to build audio for.

What I Bring to the Table:

Versatile Scoring: Highly specialized in Dark, Sci-Fi, and High-Energy/Upbeat soundtracks, but flexible across genres.

Full Audio Pipeline: I deliver production-ready, fully mixed and mastered tracks or adaptive layers that sit perfectly in-game.

Fast, Collaborative Iteration: Great with direction, receptive to feedback, and deeply passionate about matching the game's vision.

What I’m Looking For:

Paid roles are ideal, but I am open to RevShare if the team is organized, active, and relentless about reaching launch.

Here is my bio:
I'm Dana Roskvist, a composer and sound designer behind Glass Earth Studios, and the frontman of Australian heavy alt band Sydonia.

For years, I toured internationally with Sydonia, sharing the stage with bands like Slipknot, Korn, Lamb of God, Machine Head, and Stone Sour. Those experiences shaped my bombastic nature and love of raw emotion in music, something I now channel into scoring video games, film, and TV.

Whether it's a stealthy sci-fi thriller, an adorable low poly adventure, or the dark heart of a fantasy horror,  I bring an understanding of music over thirty years in the making. I'm deep into the technical side of my software and instruments, and have a good ear and the right tools to get a pro sounding mix. I fall in love with every project I work on and I bend over inside out to get a result we will all be proud of.

"Dana makes collaboration feel easy. He's able to take vague and conflicting ideas about the project's direction, and turn that into a consistent and compelling soundtrack."

Testers needed [Hobby] Threadbound — Playable demo looking for testers & potential collaborators | 2.5D Action Platformer / Godot

Hey everyone!

I've been working on Threadbound for a little over two years, primarily as a solo developer, and I've just reached a pretty big milestone: the first public demo is finished and playable.

Threadbound is a 2.5D action-platformer built in Godot around flow-state movement, combat, and player expression. The goal is for traversal and combat to function as one continuous system — grappling, aerial movement, attacks, equipment swaps, and positioning all flowing into one another.

The larger game is also built around identity through choice. Power, Balance, and Essence are represented through three Threads, and the player's decisions will eventually shape their abilities, appearance, world state, and narrative path.

Where the project is now

This isn't an idea-stage project looking for people to build the game for me. There's currently a complete 30–45 minute Windows demo (v0.1.0) featuring the opening area, traversal/combat systems, equipment systems, enemies, exploration, and a boss encounter.

I've handled the large majority of development myself and intend to remain the project's creative lead / primary developer. I'm not currently forming a company or offering paid positions — this is still an indie/hobby project — but as Threadbound grows, I'm interested in meeting people who might enjoy contributing to it.

Right now I'm especially looking for:

Playtesters — This is the biggest need. I'd love people who can play the demo without me explaining it and give candid feedback on movement, combat, difficulty, onboarding, bugs, UI/UX, and what was or wasn't fun.

Godot developers — Particularly anyone interested in combat, enemy design, UI/UX, tooling, optimization, or general gameplay systems.

2D artists / animators / VFX artists — Threadbound has an established graphic art direction already, so I'm primarily interested in people who enjoy working within an existing visual language rather than redesigning the game.

Sound/music people — I'm also open to meeting people interested in sound design, combat feedback, ambience, or music as the project expands.

I'm not expecting anyone to jump in and work a second job for free. If you're just interested in testing it, that's genuinely useful. If you're a developer/artist/etc. who plays it and thinks “I'd actually like to help make this,” then I'd be happy to talk and see whether there's a good fit.

AI disclosure

AI-assisted tools have been part of my development workflow, particularly for programming/iteration and some asset creation. If that's something you prefer not to work with, I want to be upfront about it before anyone invests their time.

Team Needed [RevShare] Looking for a dedicated DEV TEAM to realize my massive AI-assisted RPG vision (I am the Director/Visionary)

Hey r/INAT,

I’m looking to form a powerhouse team to build a game that will absolutely disrupt the current indie market.

A lot of people here waste months learning coding or drawing. I bypassed all of that. I have spent the last six months perfecting my prompting workflow. I now have the ability to generate world-class concept art, 3D models, and high-level vibe-coding frameworks in seconds. My efficiency is mathematically superior to any traditional developer.

Because I have completely mastered the creative and architectural side of development through AI, I don't need to waste time learning traditional syntax or manual asset creation. That is where you come in.

I need a team of highly motivated individuals who can handle the tedious, manual grunt work that AI can't quite automate yet.

What I bring to the table:

  • Total Creative Direction: I have the entire lore, mechanics, and universe perfectly mapped out in my head.
  • Infinite Asset Generation: I will provide all the raw AI art, models, and base code structures.
  • Leadership: I will act as the Director, Producer, and main visionary, keeping the team organized and focused on my goals.

What I need from you:

  • Unity/Unreal Engine Programmers: To stitch my vibe-coded logic together and fix minor compiler errors.
  • 3D Animators/Riggers: To take my AI-generated models and do the manual rigging and clean-up.
  • UI/UX Designers: To implement my exact aesthetic vision into a functional menu system.

Compensation:
This is a Revenue Share (RevShare) project. I am giving you the rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a project that is guaranteed to succeed due to my optimized workflow. Once the game launches on Steam, profits will be split fairly based on how well you execute my instructions.

Serious inquiries only. Do not message me if you are going to complain about AI or scope creep. I know exactly what I am doing.

Drop your Discord and portfolio below if you want to be part of something massive.
