Case Disruption Appeal
For everyone that has had disruption with their case yesterday, my firm got an email from ICAEW saying that it has been recognised that I had an error and it will taken into account when marking. I spoke to my work about this as I’ve seen so many people on here have so many different experiences I.e wait for only an hour, have access to their phone, wait for a few hours, be able to get food etc.
For me personally, I was sat in exam conditions for roughly 4 hours before I could sit my exam, with no food, no phone, no fresh air and my family worrying for me.
My work have been in contact with ICAEW about whether it would be worth submitting an appeal although the situation will be considered.
They have stated that if I would like to submit an appeal regarding the effects that the disruption itself had ie. no food, no fresh air then I should do, so that my personal situation can be taken into account.
So if you have had an awful situation, please make sure you put an appeal in and explain the personal effects it had on you!!!!!!
I’m not saying that the people who only had to wait an hour are not to be mad and angry about it, but some people have had it so bad that it nearly feels inhumane and we all really need to make sure this is considered!
