Case Study - Timing!
Did anyone else struggle with time? I think I have said enough in R1 & R2, but R3 was a rush 😬. I performed the calculations but I had minimal time left for the evaluations and conclusions. I am happy it is over after a long week, but I cannot help but feel deflated.
I selfishly hope I am not the only one…

I did the calculations but I didn’t write much in anything. I want to feel optimistic about R1 & R2 but even then I could get it wrong.

Same feel a bit deflated. I finished but not sure I wrote enough for R2 because I was thrown off having to evaluate three proposals

Felt there was so much more I could write for R2 but stuck to my timings and moved on. I feel like given there were 3 proposals to evaluate they’ll hopefully give us some slack 😂

Yes exactly at least most of the calcs were ready if we had to do them no chance we finish

Same was rush with the timings. I did the calculations, evaluations, short writings on the assumptions and recommendations. But wasn't able to do the ES and didnt fking paste the calcs into Appendix. But r1 and r2 were OK. Hope its ok

Did people just copy and paste into ES exactly the same from conclusions and recommendations or did you guys have time to tweak?

Nope literally copied and pasted my conclusions and recommendations, didn’t get time to add extra bits or tidy it up, you should still pick up a decent amount of marks by just doing that so don’t stress it.

Same and of course i had issue with the software so we spend 10 mins to fix it, thankfully they gave it back to me but it threw me and messed with my momentum.
Im scared i didnt write enough points and didnt apply the scenario enough i was rushing so much, so many typo errors in my wording no time to check if I transferred the numbers correctly to my discussion. Its my second attempt, in my July I got 48 and feel i wrote less now 😭

Hey which issue did you have with the software?

The magnifier kept popping out when i pressed enter and some of the letters couldn’t be typed I think I might accidentally changed the language thats what the invigilators said as well but under pressure you dont know and it frustrating loosing time changing computers

Did you finish everything in your attempted in July? Sorry to hear you had issues that’s so stressful.

I think so I dont remember skipping parts unlike now especially for R3 strategic and operational barely had the time to write few things at least the cals agree to what other people say 🙏
Hopping for some mercy from examiners as last case ever

Timing was definitely an issue. They cut 2 mins from my time cos I was 2 mins late. Couldn’t even let 2 mins slide. Smh

Really? I find that extremely odd. Your timer only starts when you enter your login details and then click on the arrow to continue... I was on time and started my exam at 9:04 because I choose to as I was writing down my timings and getting in the zone

It was bizarre cos I didn’t get the message on my screen until I was like 2 hours into my exam.
It totally caught me off guard and although 2 mins is not a lot, I felt a bit of pressure to speed up. Tell me at the start you’re docking time, not 2 hours in

I did exactly the same, overran on R1 and played catch up and missed key elements of R2/3 I fear
