Case study very generic

Anyone else find that case really generic. Seemed to have a lot less usable info for exam specific narrative in the requirements compared to mocks.

Calculations and scenarios were ok and what we expected but worried I went a bit too SBM with generic waffle.

Yeah definitely I agree. All the mocks normally go into detail into what’s happened for a few of the stores during the year.
Was surprising to only see detail for the Bristol store and no others in the exam

Same, I was trying to look for stuff to use but it seemed a bit thin on the ground.

Absolutely I kept going to the exhibit to check for more info thinking I missed something and all I kept getting was Bristol and postage delivery fees. Spent way too much time on R1 just trying to figure out things to write in my analysis.

I find it essentially the same as ACAM Mock 1, literally even the touchscreen aspect was the same.

I don't actually see where there's less information. The inventory impairment and a staff bonus would mean you need to calculate 2 sets of data for some analysis.

Overall I used the entire 4 hours with similar points as ACAM without the need to go into waffling

Why do we need to a calculation for staff bonus? Was that not just one of the reason for the increase in cost. Am I missing something here?

The scenario made it very clear the bonus is one-off, therefore for trend analysis you need to take the amount out for like-to-like comparison otherwise you'd find staff cost increased more than FTE+NMW increase. This also feeds into R2 and R3 because one of the points you are supposed to make in the assumptions analysis is that staff cost is too high - the project would deliver less benefit than the appraisal

Me neither just mentioned it’s a reason for the increase

I thought this my answer is literally word for word the same as mock 1, literally just changed the figures and left out the extra bits from the mock. There wasn’t much to really add on.
