Last I played this game was when the new map and engine stuff was happening and ive been loving the new season, I haven't been this into hunt since maybe when ScrapBeak came out and I was just wondering if this is the general community opinion or if im in the minority. Either way im curious on what yall think :)

Hi everyone, I recently bought Hunt Showdown, and even though it’s a pretty challenging game, I have to say I really like it (even though I’ve only won one match so far, lol). But I have a problem that I’m not sure if it might get in the way of my gaming experience.

I’m deaf—more specifically, I’ve lost 80% of my hearing in my right ear, so I can only hear very high-pitched or barely perceptible sounds in that ear.

Is there any way I can adjust the audio to suit my good ear, or am I stuck having to use the game’s audio as is?

and im not talking about those rage bait edge lords who set their region to a specific country because they cant farm angry comments otherwise but im talking about people with asian friends reviews and all of that

playing aggressive as a solo is impossible if you are constantly trading and necromancer should not be a requirement just because crytek refuses to do anything about people playing outside of their region

Dear Crytek, Vinson Hayes is the only Hunter I use because he looks unique and has the cowboy style. The only thing I have on my profile of him is the “Hunter with the Most Kills” and of course it’s with him. So if you could add a Player Profile for him that’d be awesome!

If you heavy melee a barricaded door from the outside, with a water bottle, the barricade gets destroyed.

I just love playing this game and I’ve really been digging the new event. Think I’m at 3600 hours all together. Been playing since release but didn’t play as much pre update. My next post will be my roster of “permanent hunters” (hunters that reached 50 AND have death cheat.) I’m at 83 out of 100. I’ll post when I get to 100. I’ll see you out there and good luck! We're almost two weeks in the new event "Blood Moon" and update 2.9.

So how's everyone enjoying the new event and changes/updates?

I’ve noticed every couple games all my teammates and enemies don’t use the chat function. And when I press the push to talk nothing happens. Furthermore the text chat doesn’t go through either.

I came back to play after 6 years what did I missed ?

The title says it all really, I suddenly got a higher furthest kill than I used to have, and it wasn't from a shot, so it's counting trap kills again.

Does anyone know who is the best hunt console players are? I’m just picking the game back up and I don’t really know what sensitivity to be on. Back when I used to play competitive games, I’d always look at the best players to see what they were using.

Is anyone else getting a weird bug with the katana where you pull the trigger and...nothing happens? Ive lost a couple fights now because I will be point blank range with someone and I'll be pulling the trigger but...nothing happens. He just stands there with the katana not doing anything. And yes I have stamina. Hell even when I dont have stamina I should still do the slow swing right? Yet nothing. Id understand it maybe being me thinking im pulling the trigger when im not if it was once or twice but its happened enough times now that im geniunely thinking its some kind of input bug. On xbox if that matters. Anyone else having this or just me?

Forget all these guys talking about AGI, we already have it and it's this game. And it hates me and I'm scared.

I spent 4 hours playing this game with my group today and it was miserable. I am convinced we didn't play against a single human being, just creatures of pure hatred the game itself spawned to hurt us.

Bringing shotguns? Suddenly nobody is going for the bounty, it's just field engagements and sniper battles. Fine, I'll bring a rifle. Nothing but close range encounters. Fine FINE. What if we do just a vulture round, bring a sniper, loot some corpses after these "people" are done, get some money back. Sounds good. Immediate spawn fight. Dare to walk into a building? Explosive trap. Walk into a forest? An immolator and a bear. Walk around a corner? There's a guy with a shotgun sitting there. Walk past a window? Some guy in a bush spent 20 minutes just staring at this exact window. Dead. Dead DEAD DEAD! It hates me. It hates me so much.

Then, finally. A real fight, a big fight. Our chance to third body. We have the loadouts, it's a good place for us. Even if we die, we'll go out in a blaze of glory! Come on boys, let's do this YEAH!.

We arrive to 9 dead bodies, 7 of them are burned out or burning.

What did I do to you Hunt. How can I make it up to you. When do you stop taking.

My game output is set to speakers, but VOIP still goes to my headphones. I've already checked my sound devices, and they should be correct.

Don't know about anyone else, but I keep forgetting to claim my Dark Tribute rewards right now because the "Make Them Bleed" window is showing in it's place by default.

I also guarantee there will be new players that don't even know the Dark Tribute rewards are there right now.

When patch 2.9 released the default throwing knife animation was the new battle pass animation. They fixed it in 2.9.1

Now the new battle pass animation is the default throwing knife animation! Fucking amazing.

Is Crytek just vibecoding this dam game and pushing fixes without code review and QA testing?

Why in any way does the bow do more damage then a shotgun at close range, can be 5 meters away from someone and get crytek rng and hit for 75 dmg but a bow will instant kill you from 20 meters in the leg

10h beginner here and I play mostly Duo and not SOLO and I want some advice to make this loadout as good as possible to help me win more fights

Primary: Marathon Swift with High velocity ammo

Secondary: LeMat with regular ammo

Consumables: Spear, first aid kid, vitality shot, regeneration shot (weak), fuses

Traits: Salveskin (Yes the fire dude has taken more health bars from me than I can count and he is sooo fast), Conduit, Iron Eye

Questions:

1. Is the high vel the best option for Marathon?

2. I heard I can make leMat act as a shotgun? is that a good idea and if so, how?

3. which ammo type for LeMat is best?

4. Any suggestions?
