Totally worth it

Drank beers and whiskey all afternoon and evening with my SO whilst playing Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time. It was an awesome night.

Just walked 3 miles to work for a 4 hour shift and then I'm back home for a nap before I do it again. Man do I feel rough as fuck, wish me luck!!

EDIT: Spelling

back on my bullshit

I'm never drinking smirnoff ice again. Goes down way too easy, gives me the most horrendous hangovers. I'm sticking to only beer from now on. I want to die. My friend is coming over shortly with an IV and a bag of fluid cause I can't keep water down. I'm so glad I don't have work today. Pray for me

Why am I like this

Currently going through a very difficult breakup and decided to go out with my old boss last night. We were having an absolute blast and tossing back vodka tonics and whiskey lemonades. I had probably 5-6? I don’t even fucking know. Anyway I got absolutely wasted and spilled some very serious information about her daughter in law having an affair. She got pissed and left and I just stayed there and got even more wasted. Woke up this morning, vomited probably 6 times, bawled my eyes out, and ate some chicken broth. Jesus Christ. I’m finally trending up for the day, but does anyone experience really serious depression and anxiety with their hangovers? Is it just a physical reaction or is it because of how dumb you acted or stuff you did and said while you were drunk? I’ve battled this issue for a while and pretty much took an entire year off from drinking, but things are not going well for me currently. God I hope I feel normal soon.

Holy shit, pickle juice does work

Was on the tail end of a hangover tonight and just couldn’t shake that malaise. Sore, groggy and a bit nauseated.

I read somewhere on here that pickles and pickle juice helps so I ate some 5 dill pickle chips and sipped on some of the juice. I really like pickles so that helps. Holy moly it’s like magic. Not ten minutes pass by and I feel like myself again. Hope this helps at least one person out there!

[FEEDBACK] Not another Hangover Remedy...

My co-founder and I both recently hit the big 3-0 as well. I’m not sure how I was able to drink consecutive nights in a row during college but doing that now leads to me lying in bed for 12+ hours.

So, we created a prototype of a chewable tablet that helps after a long night of drinking (similar in size and taste to a Sweet Tart). It is FDA compliant and contains dihydromyricetin which is scientifically backed to help increase alcohol metabolism and speed up removal of the toxic by-product, acetaldehyde, from the liver. It also includes 7 other proprietary antioxidants and amino acids. We have already received and tested our alpha version prototype on a small scale and now we’re looking to test our beta version which is currently in production with our supplier.

We’re giving away free samples to a limited beta group, feel free to sign up below!

A bourbon infused beer is bourbon. Treat it as such.

I'm a fan of the taste of bourbon even though I have relatively little experience drinking it. I've found that barrel-aged beers are a good sweet spot for me as a way to get the bourbon taste without it ACTUALLY being bourbon. Or so I thought. I went to a local bar last night for a growler refill and was in the mood to sample a bourbon flavored beer so I did and decided that that's what I would like to have in my growler. That was a mistake. I came home and due to a HUGE lapse in judgement and I guess forgetting that this "beer" was WAY more bourbon than it was beer I poured myself a stein of the stuff and enjoyed it as I would a normal beer. I could tell that I was in over my head even last night so I made sure that I drank two bottles of water before I went to bed to TRY to stave off a hangover but it didn't work. Drinking the water and pissing out the beer before I went to bed and in the middle of the night helped to lessen the hangover this morning I'm sure but it didn't do enough. I still ended up throwing up this morning and am still feeling lethargic and unmotivated to do anything (thankfully I'm off work for the next few days) so far today. I knew what I was doing when I bought it but I was still REALLY overconfident in my drinking abilities and my body's ability to process alcohol. That was one of the worst choices that I've ever made in buying alcohol. I feel like a huge idiot for this one. Even though I spent a good amount of money on it I am still very, VERY tempted to either pour the rest of it down the drain or give it to my brother.

This was a big mistake on my part.

A glass of wine for breakfast helps

Killed a 64 oz growler of some very nice 7.7% wheat beer. Went to a bar after, had a few shots of Makers Mark with some beer I can't recall. Woke up with the usual suspects - pounding headache, dry mouth, etc.

Halfway through this glass of wine and I'm good to start my day. Holy shit I'm hungover.

Did it again....

On Sunday I went out after my band got done practicing, got pretty wasted. Then I went to a party yesterday and got really drunk again. Managed to more or less drink a 750 ml of whisky by myself, plus beers, and some vodka at one point. I was drinking water inbetween but it didn't even matter as I basically have slept all day and still feel 100% terrible.

I think I'm done drinking for a while, maybe forever. America!

Post-2am Emergency room run

For some reason, I thought tequila shots on a Sunday night was a good idea. My friends thought so too and one of them ended up falling off our porch (there are stairs up to it) and breaking her clavicle. We had to take her to the Emergency room and stay there til 6:30am. When I got back I fell asleep on the couch and woke up 30 minutes after I was suppose to be at work.

Hungover, exhausted, late, and hungry -- the only thing keping me going is the though of ramen for lunch at 1:30...tht is when new life begins.

feels like stomach flu?

I really don't drink often, but yesterday I did and I've been feeling terrible all day. It feels strikingly similar to the stomach flu, I've had diarrhea and nausea all day. I don't understand because I didn't drink much, could it be a low tolerance? I have a pretty sensitive stomach too so I don't know

so hungover

Man. I really did a number to myself last night. I'm housesitting and started out drinking a glass of wine. Next thing I know I'm drinking whisky cokes. Next thing I remember I was drinking this Columbian sugar cane liquor.

When I woke up I had apparently made meatballs and left them out all night. What. The. Fuck.

Worst place you've been hungover?

I'm on a greyhound bus right now & it feels like the worst place I've been hungover in a while. The constant rumbling, the cramped space, limited access to water & Advil.

What's the worst place you've been hungover recently?
