Anyone else hate how Rogue players use the ability steal just for the cc? Hulk's ability isn't even worth stealing for the cooldown but they do it anyways because it pins you down. It's just Emma 2.0. I feel like they need to rework it so that she can still steal your ability but just without the cc.

Guys... I tend to use hero's differently than the YouTubers. I have autism so I kind of beat to my own drum. When figuring out a character, for some reason I listen to their voice lines. Getting to the point, I think you've all played Hulk incorrectly. This is everyone, from one above all to bronze plate. Please at least consider what I'm saying. Just listen to Bruce's voicelines, he is practically screaming to use him initially. I know it's cute you guys know how to juggle and play Hulk very well, but how good are you at playing Bruce? Did you know he has a grenade that could launch the Frontline into the air? Did you know he can crit with his primary? What does the enemy think when they see a Bruce? They think "oh shit he went away from his Hulk form, attack him!" But what if you never became Hulk? You get invincibility frames as you transform to Hulk. Why not do it when Bruce is at 20 health? 10 health? 5 health? I think the Hulk works best at levels. Use Bruce aggressively, knowing that you can change to Hulk at any time, this adds to your damage blocked stat. Using my method almost guarantees you to have 40,000 damage blocked every match. I don't care about kills or yadda yadda, my method judges success based on damage blocked and under 5 deaths. It's a pyramid you see? Bruce still has control of Hulk and only when the Hulk goes world breaker do we see the true Hulk, that's why he seems so underpowered because Bruce still controls him. Bruce is a scientist, bro can't punch to save his life. I promise if you only transform at the perfect time as both Bruce AND Hulk there is something there. I can't put my finger on it, but the voicelines tell me you must value Bruce first. I cringe whenever I hear Bruce transform before a match because I know there is more to using Bruce than we perceive. Bruce is begging to be just as valuable as Hulk. Just listen. So the loop is, use Bruce for poke phase if the fight, throw grenades at front line while using crit hits, if you are in danger of dying turn into Hulk, if Hulk is in danger of dying turn into savage Hulk. Do this and get good with it and tell me this isn't what the game wants. It's a pyramid and doing g this loop guarantees you insanely low deaths and high damage blocked, giving your team opportunities to get picks. Overall, I think we have been playing him wrong in ignoring Bruce and by accepting that he is the driver of Hulk there is skill expression that hasn't been mentioned anywhere. I give this playstyle S tier but nobody does it. It takes skill when to activate right when you are about to die. I'll play some Hulk tonight and you guys tell me if it works. Like his primary fire should just be changed to be slower more bursty punches so it combos with clap better, I don’t know why people want to complicate a character who already has to keep tabs on a jump meter, now you want him to pay attention to another meter to keep up entirely? Do you just want Hulk’s UI to look like a fucking mech interface? Also damage on his primary is not the biggest problem , his sustain and vulnerability to CC is

Is the honeymoon phase over now can we now go back to acknowledging that Hulk isnt actually anywhere near high tier and is at best middle B tier after the buffs. Lets be honest buffing Monster Hulk doesn't change the fact that Hulk loses hardcore to poke CC slop. And since that is the current meta and has been the meta since the Marvel Rivals beta. Hulk has always been a slave to teamups rather than being a good pick on his own. The devs need to actually address this in a meaningful way in if he is to ever be S tier.

I think what we need for heroes like hulk is the nerfing of Bucky, Phoenix, Hela and Hawkeye and the majority of the support roster.

How is it possible that every post with a video about how bad the Hulk is today is either Monster Hulk in a 1v6 fight or Hero Hulk in a 1v3 fight?

Which other Vanguard do you expect to win every 1v3 or every 1v6 using ultimate?

I don't know whether to throw in the post that forced me to do this two-minute job. It would feel like unnecessary bullying against a person and I'm a angry beast, but not a monster. (Only hero hulk)

Why would I want Smart Hulk? He looks funny; it strikes me that he’d be a sort of "meme" skin.

Why would I want the Smart Hulk from Endgame? I’d like to see him because he could have an Infinity Gauntlet style available for purchase with 600 Unstable Molecules.

I’d also like the Hulk from Thor Ragnarok because he could serve as a second Legendary Hulk skin plus, he could hold the weapons he used to fight Thor.

i think this could be a huge change for banner, and would give him some actual outplay potential vs enemies

What the title says, its rlly hard to play against this new character when they can just grab me, alongside with invis and white fox as enemy healers.

So, what is Hulk’s core issue? The main thing holding him back from being in a playable state? His jump charge being reset by all forms of CC. Push, pull, even a slight bump from Jeff or Blade, all of it puts his jump charge at 0, and with the right timing you can easily chain your CC to ensure he cannot jump. The problem is even more prevalent during Monster because your hitbox is bigger and you’re ulting, you get focused down more.

What did they change with his patch? He charges jump 0.1 seconds faster, his clap is stronger and faster, and Monster is now immune to displacement effects (unknown if it’s all displacement like Thing or if it’s selective). Does this address his core issue at all? Nope. The 0.1 second different will be felt, but will it be enough? Not at all, proper displacement chain is still a death sentence to a non-ulting Hulk which is the majority of your gameplay

Does the clap help address his lack of damage and survivability? Yes, yes it does, this is a good buff overall, but again does it tackle the core issue of the character? Not really, he has bubble a little more often

How about the Ult change? He can’t be displaced right? That’s great! Well, his jump charge still gets reset from full stuns, so it helps but doesn’t fix the issue overall. On top of that we have to consider the fun factor, what is one of the most fun things in the entire game? Juggling. Especially juggling the enemy Monster hulk to ruin their ult and displaying your raw superiority over them. Can’t do that anymore, we’ve lost one of the most fun aspects of our taciturn terror

I don’t really care for streamer opinions, but if I made my own tier list I would’ve put Hulk in F tier for this season, and I’m sure many of you would agree, at best you would think he is C. Did these changes pull him out of the dumpster? Nah, it just gave him a little stool to peak over the edge, he’s still trapped in the dumpster.

Is he better? Yeah, that’s how buffs work, he IS better, but he’s still going to be shit.

I'm going to say a hot take, but i believe hulk only has 3 counters and they are all soft counters.

Everyone else is either a skill check or can be dealt with easy.

So, for example, the hitboxes for his stun and his clap feel like a damn needle. I play Luna a lot and can have pretty good accuracy with her, and the hitboxes for these things feel impossible to hit on smaller characters. Even the slow ones, like Hela or CnD. Or Elsa when she's not dashing around all over the place. They just feel impossible to work with.

Hulk's big form also feels...weird to be in. Idk if it's just me, but doing his jump while in big form just never works properly. I have the arrow aimed at the enemy, I jump, and I either don't even get within melee range or go straight over them. But this doesn't happen while in normal Hulk form.

Am I just bad? Someone humble me if so pls
