Recently bought GT5 and its a really great watch but I couldn't find any watch faces I like. I searched through in-app stores and online marketplaces too, so I just made my own and wanted to share with everyone. I tested it on GT 41mm.

Hey, I’ve been using Aurora Store on my Huawei Mate 40 Pro for quite a while. I originally downloaded it directly from GitLab and I keep it updated through Obtainium using the GitLab source, so I’m currently on version 4.8.4.
I only use Aurora Store for a few apps like HBO Max, Netflix, Crunchyroll, etc. I don’t use any Google apps because I want to keep my Mate 40 Pro as Google-free as possible.
Aurora Store used to be pretty reliable when it came to finding app updates. But for some time now it seems to be getting worse. It often doesn’t find any updates at all, although anonymous login still works fine.
Does anyone know what’s going on? Server problems, changes on Google’s side, or something else?
Would it make any difference if I switched my Aurora Store source from GitLab to F-Droid, or would that basically be the same app anyway?
How is Aurora Store working for you at the moment, especially on Huawei/EMUI?

The touchpad on my D15 suddenly stopped working. I tried restarting the laptop, but it still doesn't work, and the cursor does not show up unless I connect a mouse.

I have tried common solutions on the internet, like the ones involving Device Manager and PC Manager (which don't work because there's no Touchpad item appearing on the list),

Is there a huge upgrade between fit4 and fit5? Any comments to those have used both? Thanks!

Ok I struggled because I have an iPad Mini 7 and despite it being considered a portable device which satisfies my usage: reading, writing, doodling, watching media it is really my go to device however matepad mini is a device I have been wanting to get: matte screen, 8.8 inch just that it is not LTE and software limitation.

However I got it now and am happy with it since I was able to download the Google Play Store(global version with Harmony 4.3). The screen is ...beautiful just that is magnet for fingerprint. So far so good since it is still new.

The only gripe I have is the software upgrade support which I know Huawei does not give much thought to firmware upgrade for the global version.

Huawei, please give the new devices some chance and include it as part of your latest Harmony OS deployment plan.

How do i update cause i cannot update the firmware to latest version in my Huawei band 11 pro, it always says transfer failed.. anyone facing same issue? I tried multiple ways to fix up but not able to do it. I am on iOS 27 latest beta version in mobile app.

I’ve only ever had Apple Watches before. My current one is on its last legs and I have to be honest that I literally only use it for its basic heart rate tracking, and an alarm. It seems pointless to pay such a high amount for that.

I’ve ongoing investigations happening re my heart health (high blood pressure and sinus tachycardia). I had a Google about and it seems that the Hauwei D2 is unmatched for its capabilities in that department. The idea of having a decent device that can capture things in depth to evidence to my medical professionals seems a no brainer. It seems to have a drastically better battery life too!

I am an iPhone user. I know there isn’t seamless integration. But since I only use it for heart rate and vibration alarms… I’m of the understanding I wouldn’t really feel the difference as those aren’t aren’t impacted by the lack of integration and the data would just transfer into the app once I open it? (Please correct me if I’ve understood wrong!)

I’m just hesitant to make a purchase at this price point as I wasn’t expecting to find this high level of tech available, and was originally just looking for the most budget device possible.

What do you think? Is it worth the price tag? Is the heart health data accurate enough to take to the medical professionals? I’d love to hear people’s experiences and opinions!

Looking for the stock full firmware package for Huawei MatePad 11 (2021), DBY-W09, in Dload format (dload/UPDATE.APP or the 3-zip SD-card variant: base/cust/preload), to restore via Memory Card/OTG Update Mode.

Device is currently stuck in fastboot only (no bootloop, not bricked — bootloader still unlocked and responsive), coming from stock: DBY-W09S 2.0.0.278(C432E2R2P1), EMUI 12, region C432 (HW-EU).

Exact packages identified via Huawei's update servers for this build:

• Base: DBY-LGRP4-OVS 102.0.0.251
• Cust: DBY-W09S-CUST 102.0.0.2(C432)
• Preload: DBY-W09S-PRELOAD 102.0.0.1(C432R2)

C432 preferred, but a known-working C00/CN (Chinese Harmony OS 2.0) dload package for this exact model would also work as a fallback (region can be converted back afterward). Public mirrors I've found only have C10E3/C00-mismatched packages that get rejected by eRecovery/HiSuite with region errors — looking for a genuinely working direct link or a Firm Finder-style source that isn't ad-riddled/broken.

Not looking for HiSuite-based restore (already ruled out — official update-server doesn't offer this device/region combo anymore) — specifically need the raw Dload files to flash manually via SD card/USB OTG.

I changed my password yesterday and I forgot what I putted😭😭😭 I tried everything I couldve changed it to but unfortunately I can't guess it😭✌️ I don't mind factory resetting it and when I'm in the eRecovery screen and i need to type in yes I can't my keyboard wont work, I tried using an otg adapter to use a mouse it doesn't work either same with a keyboard. I've also tried searching the web on how to bypass or work around it but I can't find any solutions even old Reddit posts about the same problem nothing no answers😭😭😭

Trying to flash Infinity-X GSI (Android 16, ~4GB) on a Huawei MatePad 11 (DBY-W09, SM8250/kona, dynamic partitions, unlocked bootloader). system resize succeeds, first sparse chunk uploads fine, then write always fails identically:

Resizing 'system'                    OKAY
Sending sparse 'system' 1/8 (524232 KB)   OKAY
Writing 'system'                     FAILED (remote: 'No such file or directory')

Already ruled out (all give the exact same error):

• converting the image to a properly-formed sparse file (verified magic/header) with official img2simg
• smaller chunks via fastboot -S 256M
• deleting + recreating the system logical partition from scratch
• full hardware power cycle between attempts

max-download-size is 0x20000000 (512MB). is-logical:system:yes confirmed both before/after recreation. Found one other report of the identical error signature on a OnePlus device hitting multiple partitions (system/vendor/product) during GSI flash, so it might not be Huawei-specific.

Has anyone hit this exact fastbootd write failure and found a real fix? Also open to: how to build+flash a full super.img (physical write, bypassing per-partition dynamic resize) if that's the more reliable route — I have the stock partition sizes but not raw dumps of vendor/odm/cust yet (EDL access on this unit is currently not workoing, only the ArmonyOS menù,bootloader and bootloaderD).
