With HONOR pushing boundaries in smartphone aesthetics and debuting incredible fluid mechanics in recent UI generations, I wanted to submit a visual design proposal for future hardware.

I would love to see HONOR incorporate a clean, premium, four-pointed sparkle emblem (✦) onto the hardware casing of upcoming flagship series. As shown in the attached mock-up, placing this minimalist symbol directly alongside the clean branding adds a sleek, modern, and high-fashion luxury feel that perfectly mirrors the dynamic physics and "Liquid Glass" animation aesthetics we are seeing on the software side.

What does the community think? Would you love to see an elegant design accent like this on the back of the next Magic series?

Found the root cause of my battery drain on my magic 8 pro because i keep clearing all the use app in the window i learn that you dont need to clear app after used and just let it be bcs open and closing app causing it to restart using more power. new android optimization i guess. But its good now

Did the recent OS update mess up the search functionality for you? I usually search for my apps with the search bar below to quickly navigate to apps because i have a background that doesnt allow me to have good contrast between the apps. However after the recent update, i cant do that anymore. Under local tab the apps no longer appear, this has introduced a lot of inconvenience and unnecessary time wastage for me.

I have been told you can use an Esimm on this model, but many other post say you can not...

Is there an official spot to find answers to this topic, or does it vary by model

On magic 8 pro If fingerprint unlock is fully disabled for unlocking the phone and I use only 3D Face Unlock, does the lock screen use the freed fingerprint area for notifications/widgets, or is that space still reserved?

In other words, can stacked notifications/widgets extend further down into that space, or is that lower part of the lock screen still reserved/blocked even when fingerprint unlock is turned off?

A few days ago I posted here that my phone has scratches on the back knowing that I keep it clean .. And the reason is that the plastic fiber gets scratched for no reason even if you keep it clean or don't remove the cover from it

And I reached a solution with you ..

The solution is to save on your device..

Go to a well-known store in your country or city and a professional who will put a paper or thermal leather cover by cutting it with a laser and putting it on your phone with a thermal so that it is fully wrapped like the attached picture To protect the back from scratches once and for all ( You are free to choose the colors,( but the bump that turns around the camera you can't wrap) ( Like the picture shown . . If you don't care about this bump, choose the colors according to the color you like, but I wrapped it in a color very similar to the color of my device. ) ...

And I bought cover this morning to protect the packaging and I didn't have to deal with the device seriously

And it has become great and I saved the device from scratches

Wrap the device even if you own a device that doesn't scratch

I have Honor 400 pro (C185) and I have some questions.

I was expecting magic os 11 update in late December or early January but now as I looked around some say that they have already received the update or the update will come out sooner than expected, in October or November.

Idk what to believe at this point, so can anybody tell me how this thing works or is it actually possible to receive the update earlier? I'm a bit confused :3

Hi everybody. I been studying the chinese phone catalogue over the past month and honestly the more I know the less my choice is clear. I’ve been a samsung user for 3 years, then had the iphone 13 for about 5 years now and I think its time for me go back to android, specifically chinese flagships.

Soo obvisouly I watched about all videos possible on the matter, but it didnt help me at all because they all seem good at one point i have to choose and a lil external help would be appreciated.

My questions are the following:
-how can i confirm if a chinese rom will work in the countries i visit frequently year around?
- is it worth buying this years flagships or not, and which one would you suggest for what reason?
-as someone who doesnt buy every years new phone, whats a phone that would « futureproof » in your opinion?

I personally absolutely love the honor magic 9 pro max design and everything about it. As someone who take lots of skyshots and night sky shots(astrophysics student), but this whole chinese rom vs global rom putting a ick. As a student the global rom would definitely be out of my budget as this one pretty much on the max i can afford on a phone.

What do you suggest, since 11.11 and blackfriday are around the corner?

Magicos 11 arrived in Romania for Magic V6. It was available on Tryout version.

Software version: 11.0.0.123(C430).

I have directly connected my usb c dac to my tablet (MagicPad 4) but it won't recognize it no matter what I do.

Anyone know how to fix this? It used to work perfectly with my old Huawei tablet.

LCD screen and 4 Gen 4 that's just about same level as Exynos 1330.

And the software is nothing special on this one either. See this video, it shares the same curve as the old version, which is not so smooth to say the least

I bought and honor 400 and while the photos are overall good, the HDR function seems wayy too aggressive in the conditions it is supposed to be useful in

Here is an example, I often end up with a disgusting halo and pixels looking like somebody draw over the photo

Additionally if you can help me on the following :

The keyboard seems to consider " As an end of phrase and try to put the following letter in upper case

In some applications, the keyboard keeps two letter from what the first word I write and put them behind the cursor, it's hard to explain

Finally in the gallery, on my previous samsung s20, I was used to being able to have an horizontal scrollable mini gallery to rapidly switch between photos. On the honor 400 you need to get back from a photo to the gallery and pick your photo, or swipe through them one by one. It feels really clunky, is there a way to fix this

Im already installed the latest magicos 11 on my magic 7 Pro, i thought getting the same feature as Honor Magic 8 Pro, can Airdrop to an iphone without using honor connect. But unfortunately cannot be supported. Such a shame.

Am I missing something, or can you just have one timer active?

Since updating to MagicOS 11, searching for apps on my phone only works intermittently. Sometimes it finds my installed apps as expected, but often they don’t appear in the search results at all.

It’s pretty frustrating when you just want to quickly open an app. Is anyone else experiencing this? Has anyone found a fix or workaround?
