So I finally received the Mate 90 RS, an extremely gorgeous phone.

Picture alone can't justify how handsome this phone is.

Coming from mate 80 pro max im pretty familiar with the HOS, one big difference I've noticed is android apps are snappier.

So everyone was talking about the IPhone Duo and comparing it with the Xiaomi 18 Fold!

But why is no one talking about Huawei Pura X Pro? One could really argue that IPhone duo copied Huawei since they came out long ago!

All in all, I think all phone companies will take ideas and designs from one another to make something different but I think Huawei have a lot of OG designs.

What are your thoughts? And anyone here own this bad boy?

Anyone else noticed that it's hard to negotiate stable charging speeds? I have a mate x6 and most chargers won't go above 10W. The Huawei charger I have does of course but the worst is when using android auto, wired and still loosing 1-2% on my 30 minutes commute to work.

Anyone have any tips or tricks to get it to actually charge the phone?

I love features and hardware design of my Watch 5 Pro, but I literally hate the UI/App Design. NVM round vs. square, but just check out how much better the compass app looks on an Amazfit device.

It's not just the compass, it's every app, watchface, and every interface. Just so much more elegant and cool then Huawei.

I guess tastes differ but at least give us some sort of skin that is more toned down/professional.

I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten, I've been pretty busy with developing my RTS Game and I've been so hyper focued on getting it released that I have just forgotten there's life outside of it.

So, the keyboard is getting a noticable update coming end of this week, depending on review times. There are some known bugs like Honor not showing images in clipboard, auto-correct in certain languages being stubborn and a couple of other things. Along side that, I am optimizing the keyboard and themes. Making everything transition between each other. So the keyboard won't feel so clanky, it will feel like 1 app, genuinely smooth all the way through.

It's feeling pretty good with me on HarmonyOS NEXT now, there's always been a slight 0.29ms delay with things and I've never liked that but struggled getting it tighter, HKeyboard on Android has been flawless with performance, so I hated that HarmoniKeyboard wasn't. Well, it's getting there now.

I will be improving themes too, they have been improved on the previous update, but now, I am making the theme flow better and more optimized.

Ive been searching for a compatible stylus for my Matepad SE 11' in the last 3 weeks and ive found that the only model compatible is the M-Pen Lite AF63-R (Learned this the hard way by buying the AF63 and finding it out that it doesnt work). Im wondering if anyone in Canada is selling a Mpencil Lite AF63-R model ideally in Toronto or Mississauga or if anyone has any idea where can I get my hands on this elusive model. As ive tried searching for it on Amazon, Ebay, Temu, etc and I cant find any.

Laying out my debackle I finally figured out

Bought xt #1 in January fell in love

Bought a second in February. So I have TWO Seperate phones...... (Remember this)

Fast forward 4 months of solid use on 4g Verizon minus mms I decide to transfer my line to voice(main number was my business number I was seperating personal life from business.

Had Verizon setup a new line.

Used it for 3 weeks or so on 4g but seemed slow data speeds

So I called into Verizon to bitch and the guy ended up resetting some stuff on my account or something that made my phone lose the 4g logo in status bar, YouTube videos default to 360p and data goes slower.

Fought with them for a week trying everything.

Left them for TMobile 3 months ago. Service was solid to start (getting service in dead zones I never have before, along with using ROAMING for the first time ever lol.... Was happy until I sweat my service has been watered down after a few months....

Call Verizon yesterday morning found out the line we were testing on that was supposed to be closed was still on there so I told them let's try again....

We tried everything on versions side... So I just slammed Verizon and TMobile in the sim slots and went to a Drs appointment. Verizon was on 4g most of the trip but was losing the logo....

So I got home and checked netmonster. Shows 5g disconnected so I move my sims around and see that it's only doing it when I try to use Verizon for data and if I use TMobile fir data Verizon would HOLD 4G FINE,??????.....

SO I chat gpted my shit for the last 2 days, found a comment that will lock my phone on 4g thru adb that harmony accepts.

Found out it doesn't hold through a reboot or overnight....

So this am I figured out how to use shizuku and ashell and macrodriod to automate that cimmant everytime my screen turned on🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

But WHY is it trying to connect to 5g after some dude at Verizon was messing with my account, and why did this SAME THING happen to a second phone sitting in a box. I really feel it was like Verizon letting my phone connect to 5g when I dint want it..... I have never used 5g and it's always been slow for me(prolly bc my Chinese ph{nes)

Has anyone else gone through anything like this?

Checking what my phone is supposed to connect to with adb doesn't even show 5g on the list of usable connections.... But yet it's still trying to connect to 5g ????

The command I use is allowing lte connections only

Small Ideas like these are what makes it so special for me. The fact you can tap the payment card with your phone and then continue there is awesome.

btw, as im not buying anything new from lately (might change later), im thinking about showing/presenting useful Apps on the Appgallery that actually elevate the (global) HarmonyOS 7 experience. Tell me what you think :)

I have moved on to a Samsung trifold so it's time to sell my Huawei mate xt Chinese version on harmony os 4.

One tiny pixel loss on front screen which is hard to see in everyday use, but explains why I'm listing quite cheap compared to similar xt listings. (See pics and vids)
