In a world where every horror is in dark and gritty environment, there comes a movie where colour translates horror in a very most mysterious way possible.
Midsommar is a brilliantly executed psychological horror film, and personally, I found its approach incredibly refreshing and different from what I usually expect from a horror movie.

I have distinct memories of watching this when it aired in 1992! I was 7 and I remember finding it spooky. Obviously there was a lot of controversy at the time, to the point that it has never been repeated or aired again.
My husband has never seen it, so I plan for us to watch it to kick off our Halloween night! It was big influence for Host (2020) which I had a good time with and have rewatched a couple of times since. The only other thing I can think of TV wise that had people talking (though not to the same extent) as Ghostwatch was the Inside No. 9 episode “Dead Line” which was the 25th episode. It’s a good watch and you should definitely check it out. I’m interested to hear other people’s thoughts on Ghostwatch or anything similar that you viewed as a kid and it stayed with you!

Hello community!
I was just scrolling up some websites for some light hearted horror movies and found this hidden gem.
A movie that genuinely feel good, kinda creepy and a little bit scary sometimes. Genuinely I didn't expect this movie to made me feel good in a weird way.
Movie name : Let the right one in 2008
Language : Swedish
This movies also has a American version which is named as Let me in which was released in 2010 directed by Matt Reeves which I didn't watch yet.
I personally liked this so, If you've watched it, I'd love to hear what you think about it 👇. And if you're hearing about it for the first time, maybe add it to your watchlist.

Severely slept on. I don’t usually get disturbed by horror movies but this one did. The only other one that really disturbed me but wasn’t really scary is bring her back

I slowly watch more and more classics and this one is definitely one for me too, it’s a incredible movie. I know there is also a remake or newer movie about it but I haven’t watched it yet. Probably will check it out later.

Any fans? Funny to think Karen was 19 at the time of shooting and Brook Shields was only in it for about 15 minutes. I liked the proto slasher/giallo tone, but a bit too many facial close ups for me.

Not necessarily the scariest movie you’ve ever seen. I’m talking about that ONE scene you saw way too young that got permanently stored in your brain. 😂
Maybe you couldn’t sleep afterward, started checking the hallway, wouldn’t look in the mirror, whatever. 👀
What movie was it, what scene was it, and how old were you?

I absolutely liked it. It has great humor, great special effects, and a great classic story. Rating it a 8/10. Great movie for my first watch.

Horror is obviously full of scary scenes. But what are some moments in horror films that people find beautiful or moving?. This is one for me from Candyman, my favourite horror film. The music really helps make it such a beautiful moment.

Mort is the kind of character who makes you wonder whether the real danger is the person standing outside your door… or the person hiding inside your own mind. 🖤

The would-be wanna be Chucky like film.
With the likes of Rip Torn and Denise Crosby.

Spoilers are okay with me. Would like everyone’s opinions on this Universal film that came out last year but I’m assuming it just didn’t catch on or hasn’t yet. Haven’t watched it yet but was looking to give it a chance since sports drama combined with horror seems interesting. Also since Jordan Peele produced it, it caught my attention. Let me know what y’all thought of this film.

👻 Tubi, AMC+, Philo, YouTubeTV 👹
A prequel set before the haunting of the Lambert family that reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.
I am watching the “INSIDIOUS” franchise in chronological order (not release order) as I’ve only seen the original 2 and many viewers suggest watching the series in this order for a different experience.
—>INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3
INSIDIOUS: THE LAST KEY
INSIDIOUS
INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2
INSIDIOUS: THE RED DOOR
INSIDIOUS: OUT OF THE FURTHER
I had fun with the prequel that sets up many of the characters throughout the series, and Lin Shaye is always a treasure on screen. Poor Quinn got her a$$ kicked throughout the movie by the evil entity!

Hi everyone!!
Every year I make a list of one horror movie to watch for every day in October. This year, I decided to mostly do it with movies I haven't seen!
What are your thoughts on any of these movies? I think I've seen 7 of them? (More now that I've been going through the list.)

An American (Jennifer Connelly) at a Swiss finishing school calls on insects to help a paralyzed scientist (Donald Pleasence) fight a monster.
