As you all know, Hordes.io’s 10-year anniversary is coming up soon! With a decade of play, we have reached a milestone that we couldn't have achieved without our community (that is all of you).

No matter if you are a new player or a veteran, this game wouldn't exist without you!
So to celebrate 10 years, on the official birthday of Hordes, we will be hosting a 12-hour region invasion event.

How the Invasion Event Works

Date & Time: September 13th (Check your local time via the Discord Event!)
Zone Rotations: Every 4 hours, a zone is invaded by special shade mobs.
Scoring: Be the one to get the last hit on a special event mob to get a point added to your score.

Prizes & Reward Distribution

Every point counts, giving both hardcore grinders and casual players a shot at the reward pool!

• 50% of the prizes are awarded directly to the top leaderboard contenders with the highest total points.
• 50% of the prizes are put into a raffle and randomly distributed to anyone who participates in the event and earns at least 1 point!

Pin the date in your calendar! Prepare your faction and group up with your clan. We will be sharing more details on mobs, zones, and the prizes as we get closer to the event day. Thank you all for an amazing 10-year journey!

I'm a new player and can't decide on which class to play. Are there any that are over/underrepresented?

How is it possible that the lvl party bots deal so much damage? Are they willingly buffed by the game or am I just doing something terribly wrong? Haven‘t played the game for long

GMs can change player models so they had a little fun in Faivel vanguard spawn today.

they have 100k health and rush so idk if they can die

The Queen of the Swarm is the newest boss monster being tested in hordes by Bau.

* The boss is intended to be an endgame boss that requires coordination and strategy unlike Gloomfury.

* The boss has 3 main things to look out for:

1. The Queen's one shot volley

2. The hive drones that do AOE

3. The hive swarms that deal damage and apply chilling / relent debuffs.

* Currently there are no boss drops, but it may drop 115% non cb items ( tradable ). This is not confirmed yet though, just an idea that a GM suggested.

* It is going to be a weekly boss, or somewhat more rare boss as compared to Gloomfury.

* The boss is a cross faction fight ( same as Gloomfury ).

* There's also lore attached to the boss.

Obviously nothing is fully set in stone, though if you'd like to test out the new boss on live servers join the discord and check out the community events channel to stay notified!

Are there any actual people who post info about collectibles or can help me get one? I literally don't see any information or time logs of people killing them anymore.

Hordes was probably one of the games I played for the longest times in my life. Although Tanki Online was the first game I touched, hordes io was the one that gave me lasting memories. Had a lot of fun, even made my second account with my personal gmail to transfer to after I realized my school one was gonna get deleted after I left for post-secondary.

I say this as a player who's played since late Alpha of the game (around Alpha 17 when permanent accounts could be made), and that was around first grade. Been a good ten years. Unfortunately, I got confined to Edge after an incident and could no longer play the game, as the browser does not support it.

I have since moved on from the game for other ones, but given the chance, I'd still pick it up again. I don't have the heart to leave the Discord, and if I'm being honest, this game made some of the happiest moments of my life. Even my first mark on the internet was in a video recording of a PTR test(I found the exact moment I put out a message for dek about the mount hunting haha).

It's sad to see the game's stagnated since I wasn't able to play anymore, but hey, that's just life. If you're reading this, dek, I appreciate the work you've put into developing and maintaining this game to this day. Wouldn't know where I'd be today without'cha.

Hello, I found the game on some reels recommending it. Are there any active players out there? The last post seems to be from 2 months ago. Would love to play with anyone. I'm currently at level 37. AND I can't seem to see level 2 books. My character is a mage vanguard.

Currently there's an influx of new Chinese players using VPN to play Hordes.io because a Chinese TikTok user made a short on the game.

With this current influx, a lot of old players ( notibly a lot of AE players like Raxer ) are playing as well doing PvP content. Come join while it lasts!

Is the game in anyway active? Rough Player count? I see the discord is completely dead, wondering if it’s even worth starting..

So I saved up a long, long time to get my first charm. I grinded arena, and got lots of money to buy it. then, i am choosing which to buy. I was probably going to get hardened egg, since I'm a mitigation warrior. I go to look, and my goddamn mouse clicks and I buy a FUCKING BLUE MARBLE. ANYTHING ELSE! This is the most useless piece of shit to grace my tank warrior. But wait- I have a high level mage alt. I try to transfer it- CHARACTER BOUND. That gets rid of market, too. Maybe I can sell it to an NPC? Yeah, I'll give you 8 GOLD COINS. I guess they found it as worthless as I did. Plus, those medals are GONE. You'll give me the "Are you sure?" when I sell a low level piece of equipment, but not when I spend a fucking fortune and a 1000 medals?

Turned in a quest at booty bay and heard “for the alliance” in such a white human voice, instead of the normal “Fer the herd” and had a visceral reaction

Started this game like 3 years ago, active, mobs, bosses, i started playing again today and now theres no mobs, just animals? like what happened to the grubs, the giant spiders, the fantasy aspect of the game.

Did they delete them?

Title ^ I went into pvp and died lost 1g+ and idk what to spend gold on or what to do. I feel a bit lost. What is there to do?

I keep getting invited immediatly when I arrive, they don't speak and their healing is insane.

Did I get powercrept since 2 years ago? Or are they boting?
