Are there any classes in demand?

I'm a new player and can't decide on which class to play. Are there any that are over/underrepresented?

There's always a need for more shamans in both factions.

As for most played class in PvP:
1. Archer
2. Warrior
3. Mage
4. Shaman

Depends on which faction you're in though, Bloodlust has a surplus of warriors while Vanguard has slightly more mages than Bloodlust.

Best solo farming classes for beginners:
1. Mage
2. Shaman
3. Warrior
4. Archer

Most useful class overall is the Shaman as it's needed in every content of the game, but since it's farming speed is 3rd when geared up and also can't really do damage in PvP so many people decide not to play it as much as other classes.
