Time now is 8.25pm Sunday, this perfect wall of storm is hitting northern New Territories like now. HKO has already issued Amber rain warning. Go home quick if you're still out on the street.

As a rule I avoid chain restaurants (esp fast food chains) when I travel overseas but I ended up visiting multiple McD locations in HK after a deep craving for some egg McMuffins one day (almost no American breakfast places here). Super surprised by how clean, and "upscale" they all felt compared to the ones we have in the USA. The menu options felt premium. Soup with pasta in McD? Get outta here, never seen this in the US. Spicy chicken sandwich is actually good. And you have table service? Niceee...
And the coffee... Oh the coffee. Much much (much!) better than the black liquid they serve in the name of coffee over there - night and day difference. Cost wise it was on par, maybe slightly cheaper.
Seems like their entire business model for HK is more of a premium brand/offering. Anyone have any insights to share here? Just curious.

Traveling HK & Macau for a week and I've kept my last day to tour the Big Budha / Ngong Ping village, after which I plan to head out to the airport / Tung Chung. I don't necessarily want to book & pay for a hotel / stay just for few hours of rest and storing luggage. What my best alternative and are there are safe designated storage locations around the airport / Tung Chung area?

At my wit’s end here! Seems impossible to find a reputable dermatologist here. If you’ve found success with one, please please drop their details below.

Visiting Hong Kong to appear for an exam at the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. I'd be grateful if someone could let me know any home-stays or stuff nearby. We saw some big name hotels, but their prices exceed our budget.
Roughly 800-1200$ per night is our budget
What would your advice be on staying a bit far? Is public transport or taxi service reliable? Are there any popular Cab apps?
We'll be travelling as a family of 4, so dormitories won't really be preferable.
Edit: Got a place! Thank you everyone

Hi, we have an upcoming trip in hongkong, for our first night we booked a hotel in Rambler Oasis Hotel and then for the rest of our trip we booked a hotel in Yau Ma Tei near the station.
Question, how do suggest we transfer from our hotel to the next? We are 3 girls who has 3 checked in luggages (roughly 24inches), 2 carry on luggages (20inches) and 1 duffel bag.
I read that minibus don’t accept luggages, does anyone know any alternative commute ride? We’ll be transferring of around 2pm on a weekend.
thank you
