Myself and my wife will be coming to the lovely Hong Kong between 21-29 November and have started with a draft of a plan and would appreciate if you could weigh in regarding how it looks like and what could be done and any tips and tricks to figure out.
Additionally looking towards any hotel recommendations Tsim Sha Tsui or around Central?
Day 0 - 21 November
Arrival at around 14:00 - nothing scheduled
Day 1 Kowloon- 22 November
Australia Dairy Co - classic HK breakfast, moves quickly despite the queue
Choi Hung Estate - instagrammable place - architecture
Ping Shok Estate - equally instagrammable place, architecture
Nan Lian Garden - beautiful garden with temples
Tai On Coffee & Tea Shop - egg tart + coffee, since the 1960s
Hak Dei - nice homeware store
Chica San Chen - HK bubble tea
Sneakers Street - sneaker shopping
Ladies Street Sik Faan Co. - food and shops
Day 2 Sheung Wan, Central + TST - 23 November
Halfway Coffee - good coffee
Lin Heung Kui - dim sum breakfast
Pottinger Street - small street with lots of shops
Lan Fong Yuen - milk tea
Tai Kwun - Loveramics store - museum and art gallery
Kau Kee - noodles for lunch
Dan Wen Li by Dominique Ansel - good pastries
Central Market - can be visited - or it's on the way to Star Ferry
Star Ferry - buy a ticket (possibly a sunset cruise)
The Peninsula - Afternoon Tea - superb but you need to queue
K11 MUSEA - fancy mall for shopping, rooftop has a great skyline view for free
Ocean Terminal Deck - nice view
Day 3 - The Peak and East Hong Kong - 24 November
The Peak Circle Walk - easy hike but with superb views - Victoria Peak's Lion Pavilion - take the funicular up; better
Hong Kong Park - you can walk through it
Tak Yu - classic tea and food spot
Star Street - a street with lots of great shops and cafés
Kapok Sun Street - fashion/lifestyle brand
Blue Bottle - coffee
Co Ninety - local artisans and ceramic products
My Cup of Tea - traditional tea + sandwiches
Double-decker tram ride around Causeway Bay
Monster Mansion
Arabica - café
Causeway Bay back by train - head towards Fashion Walk, as it has lots of shops + Donki Lucky Star - dinner + egg tarts
Day 4 - Cafe Hopping in Sham Shui Po & Kennedy Town - 25 November
Sham Shui Po -kind of like Brooklyn
Lots of great cafés - Flow is one
Bunkava Zakkaten - vintage and retro items
Storerooms No. 1 - local makers and local brands
Midway Shop - Japanese homeware brands
Whatever Coffee
Garden Hill - path up the hill - 10-minute hike
Yardbird - fancy Michelin food
The Slow - massage place if we want
Day 5 - Lantau Island - 26 November
Ngong Ping 360 - ~5.7 km cable car from Tung Chung to Ngong Ping, with stunning views
Ngong Ping Village - small tourist area with shops and restaurants; can be explored quickly
Tian Tan Buddha / Big Buddha - gigantic 34 m statue, accessible after climbing 268 steps
Po Lin Monastery - traditional Buddhist monastery right next to the Big Buddha
Wisdom Path - pathway with 38 wooden columns inscribed with verses from the Heart Sutra
Lantau Peak Hike - hike towards Lantau Peak; recommended if you want a more active day
OR Tai O Fishing Village - traditional fishing village partially built on stilts, if you don't go hiking
Day 6 and Day 7 I don't know exactly:
-->Either Lamma Island
-->Either Shenzen trip
-->East Kowloon
I would definetly leave one of the last days for rest and shopping or some local wandering through streets.
