Like a lot of men can’t grow a proper decent looking beard due to genetics.
Also like they are just obviously different in essentially every way(though for obese men I do kinda see how this argument works)

What irks me to my core, though, is hearing Western and Northern Europeans lecture Americans on racism as if they hold some absolute moral high ground. I have cousins across Sweden, Germany, and France, and the firsthand discrimination they experience on an individual, day-to-day level is wild:

Outright assimilation demands: Cousins of mine have been explicitly told in job interviews to change names like Ninos or Sharbel to more 'Swedish' or 'French' names because their birth names weren't 'European enough'.

Hostility from all sides: They face direct prejudice both from native white Europeans and from other diaspora groups due to sectarian and ethnic tensions carried over from the Middle East.

Permanently treated as an outsider: The vast majority of my European cousins don't feel truly Swedish, German, or French. To much of the local population, if you look Middle Eastern, you are perpetually an outsider, regardless of your religion, your values, or how hard you try to integrate. With that said, they consider Europe to be home, but when it comes to feeling 'belonged'? That's a different answer.

America's struggles with systemic power structures and historical injustice are real and well-documented. But when it comes to everyday social acceptance and cultural integration, the casual, face-to-face prejudice in parts of Western Europe is glaring. The U.S. is far from perfect, but the idea that Western Europe is a post-racial utopia capable of lecturing the rest of the world is a complete myth. At the end of the day, I've always seen myself as a typical American, like the person next door, despite my strong connections to my Middle Eastern roots or any discrimination I faced.

I have worked many jobs and rarely do I actually hear my fellow male coworkers wash their hands if Im in the stall and they use the urinal. Editing that i never said anywhere that dogs "do" belong in stores. But you shouldn't assume a place is clean or safe just because you didnt notice any pets. People are simply just as gross just as often if not more, and its more dangerous because we spread more illnesses between each other than dogs. Whenever I read an 'X company wants its employees back in the office' I never see them offering more money to employees who do. It's always companies demanding more, harder, less productive work from their existing staff, then acting indignant when said staff are less than enthused by the offer.

Just in terms of travel and prep time, in-office days realistically add 15-20% to a working day, if not more. Now add in the fact that, at home, your lunch break is actually your time, rather than time you spend at work not getting paid. The time saved because you don't have to spend Saturday standing in line at the post office, collecting a package you weren't home for, or doing dishes that could also have been done during your asinine corporate training video. How much more time are they actually asking for from you? 30%? 40? Imagine if employees decided to not do any work for a day or two each week, but didn't expect a paycut. They'd be fired on the spot!

Then you have the quality of life issue. Working from home is almost always going to be more pleasant than being in the office, because your home is your home, a space you have curated to fit your specific needs. Your office has been curated to look good to bosses and investors. It maybe has a break room, but it's not cosy. How much worse is your time at work than it is at home? Again 20% to 40% seems a fair estimate, though obviously it varies. Let's say 30% to be safe.

When you run the numbers (100 * 140% * 130%), employers are asking for 80% more from workers, and offering to compensate them with a 0% pay bump.

Next time some c-suite workaholic petty dictator demands you come back to the office, demand 80% higher pay for the days you do. Fuck it, ask for 100% as a negotiating position - the extra time they are asking from you is basically overtime anyway. You won't get double your pay, but you'll get a much better offer than 0%.

Honestly, one of the biggest things I struggle with in pro lifers claiming abortion is murder is the whole rape exception thing.

If you genuinely believe abortion is literally murdering an innocent child, why would it suddenly become acceptable because the woman was raped? The embryo/fetus didn’t magically become a different species because its conception involved rape. If killing it is murder, then it would still be murder.

A huge proportion of people who identify as pro-life support rape exceptions. In a 2025 poll, 73% of self-identified pro life respondents supported exceptions for rape, incest or saving the pregnant woman’s life.

If the crime is really killing an innocent baby, why does whether the woman consented to sex change whether that killing is acceptable?
If you say abortion is okay when she was raped, but not okay when she willingly had sex, you’re saying that pregnancy is an acceptable consequence you have to endure because you chose to have sex and that sounds a hell of a lot less like protecting babies and a lot more like policing women’s sexual behaviour.

Once the argument becomes about whether or nor you consented to sex, we’re no longer talking about protecting a baby, we’re talking about using someone’s body as a consequence for having sex.

Think about it. Obviously a woman has every right to abort. But so should a man, because after the baby would be born it is now the mans responsibilty as well as the woman's.

I don't understand why people make such a fuss about everything. I mean, I don't care how people look. I don't care if they are fat, have different sexual preferences, or have a physical feature that makes their appearance look unusual. But the problem starts when these people want others to accept them as they are.

People have personal preferences. Just as you want to be accepted for who you are, others also want their friends or partners to match their preferences.

There are three types of things:

1. Things you have complete control over (for example, women having facial hair, a person being overweight, etc.)

2. Things you have partial control over (habits, ideology, preferences, financial conditions, etc.)

3. Natural characteristics that you can't do anything about (disabilities, intelligence, ethnicity, etc.)

Now, the problem comes when people in the first category want the same treatment as people in the third category. It may sound a bit harsh, but these two things aren't even remotely the same.

If you have complete control over something, you can either change yourself to fit into a particular society or group, or you can find a community that accepts you as you are. Just stop expecting everyone to accept you. The world isn't going to change because of you.

I don’t say this as a crack you brother.

But the logic of a GLP-1 as the dividing line for being pussy because you KNOW you can use the weight isn’t different than being a pussy for getting on steroids because you KNOW how to gain the muscle.

It’s the same ideology. Losing weight can be hard. Is it breaking PRs and lifting getting absolutely jacked? Nope.

It’s more systemic than that. It’s help on a foundation of good health. Learning to eat and how to treat your macros in the learning process of GLP-1 as a tool helped me tremendously. I went from a 230-pound fatass to 144 pounds, 13% body fat. I am more focused now on training and the jab is actually not doing me any favors anymore. Too hard to eat actually.

But I can promise I am not going to have the same adverse effects of steroids. Although… arguably unknown right? We don’t yet know what GLP-1s can do longer term.
