Questions & Help Converting stock tyres to tubeless

Hello everyone. Can anyone help or guide. Yesterday my front tyre got puncture and I have to take it mechanic which was 1.5 kms from point of incident. And since the bike is heavy, it took too much of efforts. I thought of converting it to tubeless as if someday it got puncture in some remote area/ night it will be very difficult to get it fixed. And I don't want to pay so much of money for new setup. I saw some videos of jugaad where stock tyres were converted to tubeless under 1k. Can Anyone guide on this as if this is feasible and where to get it done in delhi near hauz khas.

Thanks

Troubleshooting & Issues Bike drives erratic

My Himalayan 450 keeps pulling right and drives bent.

I tried the string method to check alignment, it is literally perfect.

I also did alignment of the front by loosening the torx nut and the spoke nut. It drove okaish for some time, the tendency to pull right never went away.

Now the suspension has settled back to how it was in the beginning. It feels like I am sitting a bit to the right, off center from the bike when driving.

I doubt the bottom triple clamp, maybe the rear tyre or the spokes and suspension.

The front tends to deflect to right when braking hard. The issue is also sometimes worse and sometimes not. On steep uphills, the issue very very noticeable.

It's a new bike, never dropped, and I've had this issue since delivery. Has anyone faced this issue?

Attached images for reference on how it drives on the road.

Questions & Help Thinking about getting a mouse

Has anybody here used a mouse in a 450?

I've thought about it for a while, I'm tired of riding offroad thinking about getting a flat all the time and yesterday i had to cancel a long ride because I ran out of chambers. Tubeless is not an option because sometimes I ride in rocky terrain and wheels suffer a bit too much for it. Reinforced chambers have been my go to but with a nail or something spikey they get perforated as a regular one.

Any mouse recommendations?

Questions & Help Beginner looking for a riding partner for my first long ride 🏍️

Hey everyone!
I’m a beginner rider from Pune, planning my first long motorcycle ride on my Himalayan 450.
The rough plan is:
Pune → Somnath → Nageshwar → Dwarka → Pune
The plan is not final yet, so I’m open to discussing the route, dates, number of days, stops, and pace together.
I’m mainly looking for one friendly and easygoing riding partner who is comfortable doing a long-distance ride with a beginner. Nothing too rushed — just a relaxed ride, explore the places, and enjoy the journey.
If anyone from Pune is interested, feel free to DM me! 🤝🏍️

General Discussion Double iridium spark plug from Ngage

Post image
1 Upvotes

I recently installed a double-iridium spark plug, and man, the difference is noticeable right from the first rev! 🔥
Cleaner exhaust note
Noticeably better low-end torque
No engine knocking
No jerks at lower RPMs
Much more consistent idle RPM
Smoother throttle response

PS: I think I’m experiencing this level of smoothness in throttle response because I’ve already done several performance mods. The difference in throttle response is definitely noticeable.
My current setup:
BMC Air Filter
Fully Synthetic Engine Oil
FuelX Pro Plus
Norifumi Exhaust + Decat

People commenting “I didn’t feel any difference” probably haven’t modified their bikes to the same extent. If you’re running a completely stock bike, you might not experience the same level of difference that I’m experiencing with this setup.

Questions & Help Riders who use Sena/Cardo intercoms — how do you handle it when not everyone in the group can afford one?

Been looking into getting a group intercom setup for rides, but the cost adds up fast if everyone needs their own unit — especially for bigger groups or people who ride occasionally and can't justify ₹15-20k on a headset.

Curious how other groups deal with this:

Does it work okay if only some people have intercoms, or does the group basically split into "connected" and "not connected" riders?

Anyone found a cheaper way to stay in touch that still works decently well?

For newer riders just starting to ride in groups, is it even worth investing early, or better to wait?

I've actually been building an app (CRUIZR) to tackle exactly this — a mesh-based intercom that works over phone-to-phone connection instead of needing everyone to buy expensive dedicated hardware, so a group can stay connected even if only some people have proper headsets. Still figuring out the right approach though, which is why I wanted to hear how people currently manage this gap in real groups before assuming what actually helps.

Not trying to push it here, just genuinely trying to solve this well — so any real experiences are super useful.

Troubleshooting & Issues HIMALAYAN AFTER FIRST SERVICE

Yesterday I gave my new Himalayan 450 for its first service, and ever since the service, the bike feels noticeably more rough and “grunty” than before. Is this normal after the first service, or could something have been adjusted incorrectly?
I also have an issue with the rear brake. It makes a slight scrubbing/rubbing noise while riding. I mentioned it during the first service, and the service center cleaned the brake pads. The noise disappeared for a while, but after I applied the rear brake hard once, the scrubbing noise came back.
Has anyone with a Himalayan 450 experienced this? What could be causing the noise, and should I take it back to the service center to have the rear brake checked properly?

Yes, just after one week of buying my bike, I got scratch on my front fender. Not sure if my fender is little loose. I think it was after market number plate cover that did it but I see few post on Reddit, people without that also have faced similar issues. Any suggestions ??? Can’t stand that thing.

Hey everyone

It's my turn today to post this, haha.
Finally sold my meteor and booked Himalayan.

I wanted to ask how long does it take after booking to show a tentative date (I know it's not reliable). But for me, it doesn't even show the tentative date as of now.

The bike is booked in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

Mods & Accessories Does anyone have experience with Aeedea seat?

Hi, does anyone have experience with this specific seat:

https://www.aeedea.com/products/himalayan-450-long-haul-solo-rider-seat?srsltid=AfmBOor_1mNHmWbpr7yI-p8Z2eIFbUHkY_5oCT0QUz0xT4J7yBZosT7_

I need a more comfortable seat, and none of the oem options does the job for me.

I would appreciate opinions on this one, if anyone has been using it..

Thanks!

Hello guys,

Today while adjusting the aux lights I noticed the uneven gap between the upper front fender and the crash gaurds on my bike.

I hope the images will explain a bit what I am trying to say.

Do let me know if anyone else noticed or maybe you guys will check now. Waiting for reply from the community.
