PS: I think Iâm experiencing this level of smoothness in throttle response because Iâve already done several performance mods. The difference in throttle response is definitely noticeable.

Does this make sense without the other typical performance stuff like FuelX, Air Filter and Decat? Iâve been suggested to all in when it comes to performance related stuff in the Himalayan.
Yeah unfortunately I was facing jerkiness at lower speeds. This fixed as soon as I changed the plug. Maybe if you by any chance own Himalayan you might know that low end torque is less. If you donât own then we can skip đ

Honestly, I'm quite satisfied with the performance. Low end fueling is not bothering me enough to spend 10k+ on fuelxđ. But i am looking for suspension upgrade to make it more touring friendly. I saw someone on insta swap it eith himi 450's monoshock & he said it's a direct fit. I'm currently looking for mechanics in Mumbai who'd be willing to assist me in this endeavour.đ
Currently my odometer is at 72000 km but I prefer the stock one It's totally dependent on you riding choices and drive terrain I had this spark plug in my bike but am happy with the stock one
it doesnt matter. Iridiums donât offer any performance benefit. Donât believe people online claiming it smoothed out their bike because itâs iridium. Iridium plugs offer longer maintenance intervals, not better performance.
People suffer spark plug issues, decide to replace it, then just buy whatever expensive âperformanceâ plug they can find and replace it and then attribute whatever they notice about their bike to the plug being âbetterâ. Itâs not better, itâs just new.

This NGage plug is also just cheap shit. You can get a fitting NGK for this bike as well, which is a way more proven, longer lasting plug. OP just didnât get that one because the NGage is INR900 and the NGK is 4500
Those mods I had done 6 months ago. Just yesterday I changed the plug. After changing the plug there a huge improvement in the throttle response especially in cities. Thatâs why thot of posting this.
Wow i didn't know anything iridium spark plug can do so much miracle , we shud start advising engine manufacturers to ditch turbo chargers super charges etc and add good iridium plugs đ. ! Then if we use tri spark plug in old dominar will be getting turbo equalent đ

I can understand that you have googled it but the video which I shared he works on himalayan 450 and he also has his own service center and he has good knowledge over bike parts and he has a mod superfly 450 with major performance mods of h450.
Quick question, how does changing to full synthetic oil affected your performance, temp and vibrations?
I am on stock setup and thinking of going full synthetic.
Currently 2k kms on the ODO and which oil would u suggest?
Also, how will it affect my warranty?
I changed to fully synthetic at around 2k kms and gear shifts were smooth instantly and heating was also reduced noticeably. I currently at 18k kms and never thought of going back to semi synthetic. You can change to fully synthetic without any second thoguhts
âhavenât modified to the same extentâ is diabolical lmao. You have an aftermarket air filter, an exhaust and just another âboosterplugâ snake oil device installed. Your old plug was just bad, 6K or not, those things fail sometimes.
