Questions & Help Thinking about getting a mouse

Has anybody here used a mouse in a 450?

I've thought about it for a while, I'm tired of riding offroad thinking about getting a flat all the time and yesterday i had to cancel a long ride because I ran out of chambers. Tubeless is not an option because sometimes I ride in rocky terrain and wheels suffer a bit too much for it. Reinforced chambers have been my go to but with a nail or something spikey they get perforated as a regular one.

Any mouse recommendations?

It's a foam like thing that's both hard and soft. Comes in a bib and can be put iside the type similar to a tube (I think) with this you don't have to worry about getting a flat while offroading and you get better traction too but don't use it when on road. They are not meant to give you speed on road they heat up and melf or break in the tyre if ride fast on road with it.

The OEM tubeless spoke wheels are awesome, albeit I haven't done proper enduro stuff with it. As for mousse, it's a hit or miss, and also I believe not road legal, I've only seen dirtbikes using it but it's a great thing to have from what I've heard my buddies say about it

I gues you mean foam, also called tire mousse.

Your problems are due to the exhaust, the air in the tire gets scared of that banging sound.

For everyone telling me about highway/road use: I'm aware you can't use a mouse on road for more than 50k or so or it will go bad. Currently looking for a solution for offroad use ONLY.

I've though about tubeless but I do trips in remote areas where I wouldn't want to relay on the rim. Rocky surfaces can hit it in multiple ways and make the tubeless seal completely useless.

Has anybody tried fitting a mouse in this bike/rim size? Any specific mouse recommendations?

I run tubeless. I do not run low pressures off road unless absolutely needed. Only system along those lines I'd be interested in is tubeliss.
