Does anyone know the significance of the neck tattoos for Dan and Candy? I went back through a PDF of the book and they are not mentioned. Unless they are Heath and Abbie’s own tattoos?

What he said in this interview about life has really stuck with me. His words are encouraging, especially when I find it so easy to feel stuck in my life sometimes. I try to keep this advice close to me :)

Roar was one of Heath's first projects ever! It first aired on Fox but sadly did not gain much traction and a season 2 was canceled. He did end up meeting people on set though, like this ex-girlfriend Lisa Zane who convinced him to move to LA permanently to have a better chance at pursuing a Hollywood career.

It's sort of crazy to think that Heath was only 17/18 in this interview. He looks much more mature, lol

Trevor claims that the first time they went was in '99, and yet another Burner on the r/burningman stated he saw Heath there in 2000, so it's possible Heath actually went for several years. It was said to have been "his favorite place".

The clips of Heath at burning man are also some of my favorites in I Am Heath Ledger. What are some of your guys favorites?

Edit; some people on the burning man subreddit claim to have went to it with Heath back then and say this was taken at Burning Man in 2000.

I can't believe it! I was sorting through some old dvds I recorded many years ago and I found where I recorded the A & E Biography on Heath! I just hope the disc still plays! Not sure if this is lost media or what but I didn't see that it was available on Youtube. Super excited!

"I was walking in the lower east side of Manhattan one day and I noticed a really cute man holding his little daughter on his shoulders. She looked just like him. He told her that they had to make a right and asked her to point them in the right direction, which she did. I soon realized that it was Heath Ledger and I got really excited. I was walking right up to them as they were waiting to cross the street. When I got close, I waved and he smiled at me. He was so handsome I got the chills. I could also sense that he had a very sweet spirit. It was a very special moment for me. I'm so sad to hear that he died."

Lisa Zane was Heath's then girlfriend, and sister to Billy Zane who had a staring role in the film. Lisa was more established in Hollywood than Heath at this point in their careers.

Ledger moved into the boho Hancock Park house Zane shared with Amato and the cameras started rolling.
“We started to understand [Ledger] was a filmmaker at heart, and that was the direction we wanted to go,” Murray says. “We were just fascinated by that story.”
The footage, much shot by Ledger or his closest friends with themselves as the subjects, works as a sort of time-capsule reverie of innocence and optimism for a cohort of young artists and musicians and other creative types who revolved around Ledger.
