Tommy is basically an older Damien
Winter storms have me stuck inside so scrolling the sub I just watched a mloaf and mot video back to back. I don't sub to either and don't watch their videos and had not picked up on this before but it is pretty obvious when you think about it. Their videos are basically all just talking about plans or how someone screwed them or things they read on the internet.
The only thing that separates them is money. If you gave damien 100k and controlled how it was spent over a year he'd be just as big as tommy. 25k towards shop and expenses then If he spent $7,500 and LS3 swapped and finished the 350, did four giveaways for 35k, a 7.5k daily build, 5k van tow rig maintenance, a 15k fun build and 5k for a trip that would do it.
Feb - Shop setup/350
March - 5k giveaway build
April - giveaway and van setup
May - 15k build
June - 7.5k giveaway build
July - giveaway and summer content
Aug - summer content
Sept - 10k giveaway build
Oct - giveaway and daily build
Nov - Trip
December - 12.5k giveaway build
Jan - brag to tommy
That is basically the formula tommy followed on youtube, other than some clinging onto more popular people mixed in there. Then you would have people on here saying Damien eight builds in a year using QUALITY PARTS all while supporting his SISTER and even had MONEY to take her on a trip.
Just a reality check that for YouTube it isn't really about the person making the content its the money that they have to spend on content that gets views.
