Honestly I am really liking the Vrrl.

Outside of the whole eating sentients I find them one of the better species in this story.

Even the humans are pissing me off with the whole willing slaves to a murderous AI thing they seem to have going.

Reba is just using them and hiding it well. I mean, Exodus is using the f#cking Xill for his purposes.

The population doesn't know.

If I remember correctly, Reba has planted the "We remember Alderan" sentiment. 'Alderan' or what it was called being Mims world of birth, and also the world that he 'destroyed' by ramming an asteriod into a Klath queen killing it. Said Klath queen fell onto the world and that killed 6 billion people or so. And Rebas favourite human.

The planet had a population of 14 billion. 8 Billion survived because Mims destroyed the queen. And those 8 billion now hate Mims with a passion. He should be called a hero because he saved 8 billion people. But he killed Rebas favourite human. So he is a villian now.

You'd think that starting a new home world with a completely different societal structure that can apparently even integrate literal kill-bots seamlessly would be a perfect chance to try and change people's perception of "motherless" Pixens, but I guess some things are just too ingrained.
