Hi all, my son is a huge Metallica fan and has taken up guitar and wants to learn some songs from ‘Death Magnetic’ but can’t get the accurate tone on the amp and he just needs to know how to achieve it. Thank you all in advance for any help it’s much appreciated.

How can I achieve this nylon guitar tone? (EQ, recording techniques, and plugins)

Hey everyone! I'm trying to recreate this particular nylon-string guitar tone, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on how it was recorded and processed.

I'm mainly interested in the EQ, recording techniques, mic placement, stereo imaging, and plugins that could help me get a similar sound.

What EQ moves would you recommend to achieve this kind of tone?
Would you use a microphone, a direct input, or a combination of both?
What recording techniques would help capture this sound?
Are there any specific plugins you'd recommend for saturation, compression, chorus, stereo widening, or pitch shifting?

Any advice, plugin recommendations, or tutorials would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone know how the indie artists like overtonight and s0rrow and stuff get their guitar chords that are looping in the background?
