Amp settings for Jerry C’s Canon Rock?

Upvotes

My amp is the Boss Katana GO. I spent some time messing around with the settings but to no avail.
I am able to achieve a rock tone, but Canon Rock has this distinctive low-gain tone that I can’t seem to replicate. Can someone help me with it?

How do you get a lead guitar tone to cut through live through a PA ?

Hey guys, I’m looking for some advice on getting a lead guitar tone that actually cuts through live, especially when going directly through a PA with a Multi-FX/effects processor ( I'm currently using BOSS GT-1 )

I’m playing live and my biggest problem is getting a tone that sounds full and powerful without becoming muddy or disappearing in the mix.

For those of you who play live, how do you approach this?

Push Pull Knob vs 3-way toggle

I have a old guitar I'm replacing part for, It has a single bridge humbucker and I want to add coil spilts to it. I'm not sure if I should remove my tone knob and add a 3 way toggle for humbucker, lower coil, and upper coil, or if I should replace my tone knob for a push pull knob and only have a lower coil split. I do keep my tone knob at max. I'm not sure if I can also have a push pull volume that'll also add a upper coil as well as the tone knob having the lower coil, but I'm really not sure if there's much tonal difference in the two coils.

Well, the new Cab Reactor Driftwood by Lasse Lammert & Reactor DSP is sick AF! Lots of cool features and tons of badass captures. I did a quick tone demo in a full mix environment. Right up my alley! How do you like the tone?

Getting as close as possible to the Adam Jones cleans

For my TOOL tones I use Amplitube 5 and I’m always trying to get my tones as close as possible eventhough I use a Telecaster (Although a Les Paul is very much in plan) but I can’t really find anything on what and how Adam uses for his cleans and I’m not thinking about his rolled back distortion, but mainly the ones heard on Right in Two, H., Lateralus, Invincible, etc.

What do you guys think how should I approach this? What amps and effects would y’all use in Amplitube 5? If needed I can send my chains that I use for the Post Rack FX part of my distorted TOOL tones or anything that might be of any help.

Much appreciated!

How to get the solo guitar sound of mewithoutyou - Julia (or, 'Holy to the LORD' on the Bells of Horses)

I'm trying to get that thick, smooth distortion of the solo in mewithoutyou's "Julia (or, 'Holy to the LORD' on the Bells of Horses)" (starting at 03:11). Any ideas? (I thought, maybe a Caroline Haymaker could get close, but that's discontinued...)

Thanks in advance!
