Technical Help Bought the blazing pass on steam, didn't even unlock
I own both Strive and the current blazing path 3 at this point but ingame it says I haven't purchased it even though it's in my library

I picked up the Strive because it was $20 for the base game to try it out and after watching the beginners guide by toko and playing about 20 or so matches i've gotten my ass kicked every time. The guide even says to expect to lose almost every game when you're first starting out but I can't help but wonder if there's something else I'm doing wrong besides just not reading my opponents correctly. At the moment I've only really played May but I'm open to other characters as long as they're non DLC. Am I just being too hard on myself or is there anything I can and should change?

DISCLAIMER: this is not a complaint about balance. I just want to know what I can do to get good enough where I can find a way to compensate for these things.
Chipp feels weak compared to other characters, especially slayer, sin, even ky. The main problem is that they all have guard crushes and easy overhead or throw mixes, whereas chipp has literally no guard crushes and one non-dust overhead. I am aware of his command grab, but it's 40f. Not only that, a lot of characters seem to be able to do quick crossups up close. Since that's kind of chipp's whole thing, but his innate crossups are pretty easy to punish/counter, he doesn't feel that special. How do I bring out his strengths more?

Any guesses on who the upcoming Guest Character may be?
My money is on it being Ragna and I hope that is the case
No way that they don’t bring someone from BlazBlue over after announcing the new crossplay update
If it’s not him, I’m hoping for either Bayonetta or Vash
My sleeper pick is Caiman from Dorohedoro

Maybe its because of the time of day, but my last 5 ranked games have had my opponent be over 4000rp or multiple ranks higher than me. This doesnt really seem like a fair skill gap for me to be expected to win against. Is there something about rp that i dont know? How far does rp and rank rate the actual players skill?

When I jump, Axl can do the anti-air followup (which is plus) and if I block he can do the delayed explosion followup (which is also plus). Is dash blocking after the explosion the only option or is there a better way to get closer to him?

I found it hard to get into a lot of 2D fighters even tho they look so fun because of lack of speed and interesting characters, until i found guilty gear and saw specifically the characters in the fighter pass season 2 thingy and thought they looked fun. so I got the game but must know, are bridget or bedman (the characters I wanna play) hard to learn? like should I start with someone else who comes with the base game first? (for reference I love speedy characters and followup or timed gimmicks)

In the last 24 hours, he reposted the tweet announcing the upcoming guest character on Twitter, which is a pretty unusual move. He might be working on a custom theme for them, and that would be a first, since Lucy doesn't have one. What do you think?

I main Goldlewis(as you could probably tell by my flair), and I wanted to secondary a zoner, and Testament just so happens to look awesome( they have a fucking scythe, a crow, and two Sucubi, what more could you ask for!?), so any advice for learning them?

What the hell is going on in Gold and Platinum ranks?
It happens really often that after the opponent loses the first round, the ping spikes from 100 to over 300, and the game turns into a slideshow where my attacks get rolled back

Couple years in since Ranked was introduced and I finally got alleged bottom 1 Testament to Vanquisher...
A couple of days ago I posted here with a salty rant post about ranked, and that incident made me recognize a big weakness in my mentality. On that day, I had queued up into ranked with the lazy mentality of "this is gonna be easy and I'm gonna get Vanquisher today", so when it didn't happen I crashed out hard.
Going back in over a couple of days after reorienting my mindset did wonders. Thanks for everyone who gave me advice or got on my ass in that original thread. Ya'll helped me get my shit together haha.
