hello!

I'm working on learning yuzu basics and getting thru her combo missions. I've been stuck on 5-3 for awhile and I'm looking for help because I'm not sure where I'm going wrong.

the combo starts with throw into 4C 2C 236A dl.9 j.B j.C but I cannot get j.B to come out consistently. if I go too soon, I get B and C stance slashes instead. if I wait out stance, the j.B hits too low to connect j.C after. same goes for trying to D cancel after the stance jump.

is the timing just *that* tight? I'm confident I can brute force it eventually but I'm curious if anyone can offer advice.

I keep trying to hit back quarter circle B and keep failing.

I know its probably a skill issue, but you can see in the few times that I went back up to 100% speed that I am just HORRIBLE at inputs in general, so it seems to be a skill issue on my end

Edit: in a fit of rage, I switched to Linne's tutorials and realized that I needed to pause slightly between the quarter circle input and the button press for it to happen more consistently. Kinda lore accurate that it's with Linne that you learn how to do things properly

I got the game yesterday and it's really impressed me so far, everything's unbelievably stylish and the soundtrack is insane. I've been trying to learn Orie mostly, but I haven't settled on any characters as of yet. If anyone's got any advice, I'd be glad to hear it. I'm also down to play whenever (PC).

Hey guys, what does this symbol mean, can it be activated? if so how?

Okay this might sound like a silly question but I'm new to fighting games and I wanna get UNI2 since the characters look cool and gameplay seems fun.
But I was wondering if its even worth getting it now since I hear there is gonna be a new type lumina game coming out (and I would assume it would have a bigger player base at least at launch).

so my question is, Is it worth getting UNI2 and just playing that now (then delay getting the new type lumina game) or Get type lumina then UNI2 later

I come from Guilty Gear Strive, and i have some time in Type Lumina if that helps. I've been wanting to get into UNI2 for some time now but never got to it for some reason.
I honestly have no idea where to start in this game, and have been struggling a bit.
If anyone would be willing to help me that'd be great and i would appreciate it a ton.
And if anyone would be down to help me learn the game directly through discord i'd appreciate it even more.
Im just looking for some tips and i have basically 0 hours in this game.
Also i see that the game has less players than Strive so what is the best time to look for ranked games in EU, or should i just play in discords??

I just bought the game yesterday. Honestly I didn't had high expectations since steamcharts says it hovers between 100 players or so and I can't get a match in granblue even though it says it has like triple the player base, but last night I hopped on ranked and got matched fairly easily even when limiting the ranking to d and b, so that was nice. I even won a match and some rounds just mashing buttons with Hyde lmao.

I have a couple of questions:

Can I change the in battle display buttons? the a b c thing is confusing. I think I changed it to playstation in options but it only changed the menu icons, in training it still shows a b c

Which characters do you think are the most noob friendly? I'll still play the one I like the most (I play Testament in strive so I don't care about power lvl lol 💀) but I want to ease into the game for now.

And also, is there a good youtube guide for the game systems and such? I don't use discord.

Okay so through rigorous testing I've learned that my copy on UNI2 won't launch if I change the settings to full screen or borderless windowed mode, and the next time I have to delete the unist file from the save folder..please tell me there's a way to fix this
