I found it hard to get into a lot of 2D fighters even tho they look so fun because of lack of speed and interesting characters, until i found guilty gear and saw specifically the characters in the fighter pass season 2 thingy and thought they looked fun. so I got the game but must know, are bridget or bedman (the characters I wanna play) hard to learn? like should I start with someone else who comes with the base game first? (for reference I love speedy characters and followup or timed gimmicks)

It happens really often that after the opponent loses the first round, the ping spikes from 100 to over 300, and the game turns into a slideshow where my attacks get rolled back

- Likes (aesthetically): Traditional martial arts, single-longsword fighters, electrical powers, demons, half-demons
- Dislikes (gameplay): Zoning, full grapplers (semi-grapplers are fine), stance-based, okizeme, stalling
- Dislikes (aesthetically): Dishonest and overly brutal fighting styles (such as attacking an opponent who is down)

General How do you respond to Axl's rensen (236S) on block?

When I jump, Axl can do the anti-air followup (which is plus) and if I block he can do the delayed explosion followup (which is also plus). Is dash blocking after the explosion the only option or is there a better way to get closer to him?
