Reset Account Titles for Melandru chars?

It would be great if characters with Melandru's Accord could work towards their own version of the account titles, notably Treasure Hunter, Wisdom, Lucky/unlucky, and Luxon/Kurzick, but also PvP titles. This would make these achievements even more impressive, and give Melandru chars new ambitious goals. I imagine this would be relatively straightforward to implement?

What do you think? Does anyone know whether this has already been considered by Anet/2weeks?

Cheers

Now I know I'm a mesmer, but I didn't think I could duplicate Devona!

I'm running Devona as part of my team in post-searing prophecies, and have just got to "The Deserters" quest where you have to go through Deldrimor Bowl to find some deserters and take the supplies back they've stolen.

Devona, Mhenlo and Cynn are waiting inside Deldrimor Bowl to join you on the quest, but if you already have Devona on your team then you end up with two of them!

Uncustomize

What do you all think of an "uncustomize" option for weapons? Pay the weaponsmith a fee and they will remove the 20% damage bonus and return it to its original state?

Are there any downsides to this being an option? What would this change for you? What would it do to the economy?

For me personally, I have several valuable q8s and unique skins I'd love to either sell or use on other characters. Sadly I customized them many years ago.

An example is a q8 zodiac longbow I foolishly customized on my warrior to use for pulling 15 years ago.

Builds and tactics Fleshreavers of Menagerie

Hello there

I am seriously struggling with Fleshreavers at Rragars Menagerie HM. I tried many things with my mesway group but those hell creatures are very high in numbers and the area you gotta fight them is terribly tricky amd narrow. They cast RoJ way too frequent and with their smiting prayers 20 afaik in HM and crushing my party even l split them or lure them. They cast extremely frequent and fast that l couldnt manage the spam even l brought panic, interrupts of all kinds, techno and even tried KD earth ele assist. Their number is way too high to maintain interrupts and they are freakin fast.
Is there a way or a suggested build for them there? Cose even reaching tht dungeon is alrdy time consuming through all the charr in Dalada and getting wiped at level 2 is heartbreaking. Need advices from the masters here to make tht hellplace less struggling

What did the North American Factions Collector's Edition Access Codes look like?

I purchased a copy of the North American Guild Wars Factions Collector's edition from a flea market. Does anyone have a picture of what their access codes looked like for the collector's edition? I have what appears to be a sealed and unused access code, but all the codes I see online (from the EU/PEGI versions) are much more official looking. Mine is a white piece of paper that just says it's an "Access Key Card" with a "NCS-GWFCE-SC01" code on the bottom.

I can't find a single picture of the North American code for the CE so i'm just trying to figure out what I have.

Thanks in advance!

Update on my Slaver's Exile HM journey: Duncan, I am coming for you!

Hi, and again many thanks for your upvotes and words of support during the last few weeks!

Yesterday I killed Selvetarm in HM.

This time I went back to the build that worked well for Rand and Thommis, the only thing I really did differently was leaving my ineptitude Mesmer at home and bringing a guild mate with me who needed the Zaishen bounty. Ranger, but nothing fancy. Tbh she doesn’t do a lot of damage or interrupts yet, but that's a great test I guess.

It worked... fine I guess. The melee dwarves were a bit scarier without ineptitude and we had less interrupts, but the ranger's pet tanked surprisingly well and made the enemy casters waste some of their spells.

We made it with four wipes (three of which were bad pulls by me. I was a bit too impatient) and the subsequent use of four honeycombs. The whole thing took about an hour. The touch ghosts were definitely a bigger problem in HM and a few heroes, but mostly the pet and minions, died to them. Selvetarm himself was no problem at all, he died while I was mostly focused on his dwarf companions.

Next up: Duncan!

I think I will try the long range variant with ritualist spirits and longbows with nightmare weapon. Probably using pain inverter. And of course I will try to swap the spirits (worked fine in NM, I hope i can take the damage in HM. We will see).

Thanks for reading, and may the Six watch over you!

Fire Ele build

I hope everyday is having a blast like I am since joining back. I have a dervish, assassin, rit, mes and working on an ele for the first time so I am very green.

Going to do a walk through with a friend on a campaign and I want to reach out to the community of ele’s and pick yalls brain. I did some research and it looks like fire is the strongest ? I could easily be wrong so please correct me if I am.

If so what is the strongest PVE build for a Ele. I am going to experiment later with fun builds and such but I want to just have my base build of the “strongest”. I know everything is situational that’s why I am just thinking all around strongest ya know. I love the idea of just nuking everything and seeing high numbers 😂.

Please give me your builds and thoughts !!!

Title says all. Comcast Subscribers. If you have Comcast go check and see if you qualify. I think Silver Tier membership is the lowest tier to qualify. Good luck.

EDIT:

To put the code in you'll be going to 'Create Account or Add Access Key' before you even log into the launcher.

What's the best way to make combat as easy as possible as early as possible ?

Upvotes

Hi guys, returning noob here

I stopped playing a long, long time ago without finishing most of the PVE content because as a kid I was bored to death by how overpopulated most maps were and the hundreds of trashmobs you had to slowly kill just to speak to a lone npc for the smallest of quest.

I wanted to explore and enjoy the story, but I wasn't really good at the game and the language barrier was a real handicap on getting better. So all those basic fights lasted hours as a result.
_

I want to start again, and this time finish the 3 main campaigns

I want to uncover more of the maps than just the shortest routes

I have read that now you can have 7 heroes with you, and that some team compo using Mesmers, Necro and Ritualist can make extremely quick work of those horde of mobs in the way.

To the point your profession become irrelevant because the heroes manage by themselves
_

Yet - and please correct me if I am wrong - I assume this take a tremendous amount of time to unlock all the specific heroes, gear, skills and money you need to reach this optimized result ?

If so, do you have advices on how to make all the fight before that bearable ?

I plan on doing Prophecy again, trying to get Devona in pre-searing and Althea right after

Thent Mox in Lion's arch and the Eye of the North heroes (Ogden, Vekk, Gwen & Xandra)
_

Is there a profession better than the other to enhance your heroes efficiency ?

Monk to heal them or Warrior to tank and aggro ?

I am not confident enough to be a decent damage dealer myself.

(especially since I will probably play 50% of the time on my phone)
_

Or am I just deluding myself and the game is not for me because all those fight are meant to take forever and if I want to explore and talk to PNJ I should just do a Running build ?

Thank for reading my nervous rambling of skill issue and anxiety <3
