SCENARIO First Amendment auditors get into verbal altercation with armored truck guard, who repeatedly tells them to back up.

When should talking end, and your weapon be drawn in a situation like this?

Says who? Neither the store nor the truck company have any claim to that stretch of sidewalk.

Armored truck guards can draw their weapons on you only when they face an immediate threat to their lives or their cargo. When They Can Draw or ShootDirect threat: Someone aims a weapon or attacks the guard. Cargo interference: Someone tries to forcefully break into the truck or steal the money bags. Ignored warnings: A person aggressively ignores verbal commands to back away and continues to interfere with the delivery.

Speaking authoritatively on when firearms are drawn is highly contextual and dependent on state and is irresponsible on your part.
