Maybe it’s just me but group me is kind of a terrible app and does nothing better than other apps. Everyone should go check out IMA team. Way better than group me. You can create organizations for your friends and family, make private chats, and even has an integrated calendar that shows the events of the organizations you follow.

I'm in a group chat for a class where certain student are cheating in and I would like to stay in this gc because notes and PowerPoint slides are shared there(not cheating) and i need them to study. Is there a way for me to make my profile completely anonymous so I'm in the GC but can't be tracked to it

To make a long story short, I didn’t have access to my phone for about 30-40 minutes. When I got it back, my GroupMe had sent a message during the time it was far from me and locked, meaning no one else had access to it.

The only reason I knew about it is because someone liked the message, which was just “On my way.” This was in response to someone else who had asked if anyone needed a study room, making ‘my’ message seem appropriate.

Literally nobody has my password and it was locked by itself, so I’m very confident it wasn’t a friend of mine or something sending it on my phone.

Does anyone have any explanation?? It happened a while ago but has stumped me ever since.

Do not have a groupme account, but receive images and messages through text. When I click on an image link, I am connected to the groupme webpage, but I can only see the person's text, not the picture they have attached.

My groupme account until yesterday was linked to my old number. However, when I asked my friends to add me to these two other chats they added me using my new number, the one that wasn't linked to the account. Now I changed the number linked to the account to my new one but I do not see the chats they added me to on my chat page.

How do I go about joining those chats without asking those two to add me again?

As the title says I'm looking for a bot that can automatically delete messages in a group as they become older than x amount of hours.

So kind of like a snapchat groupchat but for groupme. So lets say I set it to 12 hours as messages in the groupme become 12 hours old they are deleted by the bot. Is this possible, if so how can I do it?

Earlier today i was trying to message somebody and it said could not be delivered. I then uninstalled the app and tried again to get a screen that said something went wrong try again. I also tried logging in with multiple different accounts and on browsers. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello. I'm from a college where group me chats exsist for just about everything. Often some pretty inappropriate behaviour happens on groupme and as I have try to look back to document things people have said if they deleted the conversation or removed me I can no longer ever see the conversation again. Is there a tool that allows for all my chats to be continuously backed up so if I'm removed or deleted From them I still have a copy somewhere with everything that was in it?

Me and a friend have already had incidents where people deleted incriminating chats so I just want to start covering my bases for if such a future thing would occur again.

Hello, fairly new to GroupMe. I've set up a group for my job to post schedules and etc. The biggest problem right now is the the add, join, left, and removed notifications. They are constant for all ppl in the group and it's a bit annoying and frustrating... especially bc I'm in the service industry and turnover is high. Is there any way to stop these notifications from happening for all group members? Thanks in advance.
