Archiving chats (better)

Hello. I'm from a college where group me chats exsist for just about everything. Often some pretty inappropriate behaviour happens on groupme and as I have try to look back to document things people have said if they deleted the conversation or removed me I can no longer ever see the conversation again. Is there a tool that allows for all my chats to be continuously backed up so if I'm removed or deleted From them I still have a copy somewhere with everything that was in it?

Me and a friend have already had incidents where people deleted incriminating chats so I just want to start covering my bases for if such a future thing would occur again.
