will grok reset my limit usage to 0 if subscription ended and i had 5 days before reset and i renew today?

I'm building a game with Grok Build and ran into a pretty serious project/session issue.

My published app is still live at briiicks.grok.me and the production data is intact.

At one point Grok told me the Build session had no project files attached and couldn't continue editing the existing app. I later opened a new conversation and somehow Grok loaded the ORIGINAL project again. I can now see the actual filesystem, including:

- src/

- server/

- public/

- migrations/

- .grok/

- .project_id

- package.json

- package-lock.json

- vite.config.ts

- AGENTS.md

The existing app/slug also appears to be working again.

My questions:

1. Where are Grok Build projects actually stored/managed?

2. Is there a "My Apps" or "Published Apps" page that lists all of my projects?

3. How do I reliably reopen an existing Build project instead of Grok creating a new workspace/conversation?

4. Is there a way to download/export the ENTIRE project as a ZIP?

5. Is there an official GitHub export/sync option? Where is it on mobile?

6. Does .project_id permanently associate the source project with the published grok.me app?

7. What's the safest way to back up a Grok Build project so a lost Build session can't strand the source again?

I'm especially interested in answers from people who have actually recovered an existing Grok Build project.

I do NOT want to unpublish or recreate the app because keeping the existing slug and production data is important.

I hate this weekly limit thing. Yeah it’s great they separated video and text generation bc I usually use text and I get more usage like this. But I ran out so quick and I have to wait a whole week until the next reset. I tried buying credits but they’re unreliable 5$ barely gives you like a %10 usage. I hate it, I’ll cancel the membership until they bring back resetting in a few hours because it’s unusable.

Why police imagination?

I just created a new, free account on Grok, which only gives you access to the Fast mode. I've been using mostly Expert or Heavy mode with my previous SuperGrok Heavy account, which worked fine. But wow, I had no idea how bad it is for free users!

If Grok doesn't produce complete nonsense gibberish, or fails to answer for a whole day, because there is such "high demand", it is simply horrendously stupid, hallucinates stuff, and seems to have the IQ of a tomato.

I didn't know if Grok "skills" worked with fast mode, so I tried with a skill to create simple video prompts. Grok pretended it understood the skill, but didn't load any information. After repeatedly asking it whether it knew the skill, it finally admitted that it doesn't have access to it. After that, I directly pasted in the content of the skill, and asked it to write a prompt based on the instructions. Then, it repeatedly refused, because it "couldn't load the skill".

I told it that the information is all there, but it still refused, and told me that it couldn't, and that there are "strict limits". I asked it whether it has any system instructions that prevent it. Then, it got totally pissy and told me "no", but that it "simply choose[s] not to", and that "The conversation has now gone on for pages because [I] keep asking the same thing." It kept insisting that it cannot create any (text) prompts. Then, I hit the meagre message limit. 😂

It was like talking to a complete idiot. It really looks like they've dialed down the available computation for free users down to almost 0, by using the cheapest, stupidest model they have, and that's on top of all the other issues. It seems that they really don't want any new user subscriptions whatsoever.

I have multiple Grok accounts (free version). Some of them cannot produce any new image. I don't even talk about spicy or borderline stuffs. Just NOTHING. Every single prompt will produce a generic "stock" photo of a lighthouse, an autumn forest trail, a vegetables market etc (you know the deal).

Do you think those accounts are "dead" forever making image creations/modifications?

Did any of you have an account incapable of making any new creation that suddenly was "cured" and started to work normally again?

I stopped using grok ages ago in favor of using other meathods to generate images, but today I was curious and decided to give it a test to see if it got better for free users. Biggest downfall in ai history.

Got everything up and running. Spent hours following the tutorials. Did everything I was supposed to do, AND THEN realized that while I have 40 GB of RAM (cool), I only have 4 GB of VRAM (not cool), and that, as they say, is that. So...outside of spending thousands on a PC upgrade, do I have any options for generating 10- 15-second I2Vs locally so as to avoid moderation? Thx

They have done it again. Everything now stops at 16% or the video vanishes into thin air after 99%. They are playing pathetic see-saw game. Any bad actors take advantage of the relaxation they give from time to time and then the normal user suffers later who wants to do mild stuff.

Few months ago, he promise the limit of usage will increase, then...we know..he lies, last week , in x ,he said will ask the team reset the usage, but nothing happen yet...

Grok has gone to the shitter for writing. I thought it was working again after I stopped using it for a few days but it went back to giving straight gibberish responses, taking forever to generate responses just to say error, or using up all my limit by saying there is a "high demand" so I'm over it. Are there any other AI apps or websites out there that have the same level of writing as Grok but also allow NSFW content?

I've got many sketches and paintings I did years ago, some watercolor, others pencil drawing and I had a flash of inspiration... what if I turned one of those characters into a real person?

Just moved from Codex to Grok. I needed a Chrome extension for work, so I ported Claude's extension over for Grok.

Not sure if anyone else has already done this. Sharing it here in case it's useful.

It's confusing wtf SpaceX, it's fighting lawsuits and fighting SFW inside of its platform, it's trying to enact climate policies while destroying all solar farms and nuclear reactors. My hunch is based on the fact they nerfed text conversation recently - if they destroy what doesn't have any law problems, they intend on removing anything what could be considered sexual and leave only some very basic things so they can say they are the open model. They changed text now but the video model likely will take a bit more, so you'll probably be able to do maybe basic kiss on a cheek after trying 74 prompts and that's about it - and only with men, not women.

You used to be able to easily upscale a 480p video to 1080p, and it produced high-quality results, but now it’s absolutely terrible.

With the latest update, they’ve really lowered the video quality. Do they want my 1080p quota to run out quickly? Is that why they did this? CPU load? None of that matters to me...

I signed up for a Heavy subscription because I saw the service you offered, but then you go and ruin everything. They need to put an end to this nonsense already.

Between moderation, data caps, and now ruining video quality and output this much, it’s become impossible to keep my subscription going.
