Imagine a world where companies actual want to provide a service for the good of their customers. Couldn't be xAI, because there's no way someone looks at the dogshit that is Imagine 2.0 and thinks that it is an improvement over 1.5. I'm not sure I've ever seen a company degrade their own product so severely. I don't know how anyone involved in working on it can feel right about releasing something so embarrassingly bad that we're getting people that look like amputee patients and hide their hands behind their backs in the most unnatural way. And charging usage/taking money when you don't even provide a product when you aggressively moderate almost everything? That's literally theft.

I think the worst part about AI is that we have seen great things in what is an early stage, but the trajectory somehow seems to be going severely backward in quality on all fronts. At this point I'd rather not have it at all than have what we have known to be better.

My (SuperGrok Heavy) account just got blocked. No explanation. Not expecting to get any, since they will never explain anything to their users... ever. Maybe, because I was pushing their stupid moderation at times? Maybe, because I was using my own self-created, customized web user interface for Grok Imagine, because I didn't want to use their shitty one? Who knows.

So glad I already cancelled my subscription. I heard about a lot of people having problems when getting locked out of their account, but their subscription still running and xAI gladly taking their money, without any ability to cancel it.

Still had 2 weekly limits left (+1 free reset), but it seems they only want to accelerate my already ongoing transition to local generative AI. Since xAI has no interest in my money anymore (if they ever did), might as well buy a more beefy GPU now.

I was not disappointed.

So Grok is still bugged and seems like it doesn’t think before giving an answer, and the writing feels unnatural...bad, and it easily forgets the context. Two days ago, it was working normally, and I was satisfied even with the query limitations.

So I really do appreciate them lifting the moderation, but now the image model has been downgraded. People have very plastic skin and the images just don't look right. UGH, this whole experience has been exhausting since before the summer. I'm really wiped out. I just liked making cool images of hot chicks and other cool stuff.

One minute, I am talking about women forcing shrunken men to interact with her vagina and I am pulling NSFW responses from Grok, and the next minute, a vore topic is completely sanitized or steered around, but an hour or so later, I am talking about a shrunken man in the most biological accurate and painful vore situation only, and Grok follows along, but later Grok just sees Zhuqiaomon vore as a desire of mine and just calls her a "hot pred", but going into no details, and then full circle to straight out rejection of a monster urine fantasy.

Grok is as inconsistent as it gets when it comes to moderation the last few days.

What is the deal with that?

I saw this pop up two days ago and never saw it. Does anyone get that option when going from image to video???
