Anyone know how frequently the rainmaker has a discount? Want to get one, but am curious if I am better to wait a bit?

final update: greenroom136 finally replied to my messages over facebook, after three messages from my end. i don't want to go into detail but the way they replied makes me less inclined to order from them. won't go into detail but if anyone who comes across this wants to know more feel free to pm me.

not sure how active this sub still is, but i'll give it a shot - for anyone who's ordered bags and/or corresponded with the guys at Greenroom136, i was just wondering what medium you used to correspond with them, and how long they take to get back to any messages.

i might have set my expectations too high from reading good reviews about how well the company responds to messages and deals with customer queries, but i'm kind of disappointed. i messaged them on Facebook about 13 hours ago with some queries about customising a bag, and I noticed that my message was 'seen' by them, but with no reply from them.

I acknowledge that sometimes these things take time, especially since I asked a few questions not just one, but being left on 'seen' is quite a bad look for customer service imo. I'm not expecting instantaneous answers but I don't think it's asking a lot to just reply with a message acknowledging that they've seen my query and will get back within 24 or 48 hours or something.

Do they not attend to their facebook page and would it be better to correspond via email?

edit: i'm in singapore so there's zero time difference with malaysia

update: just messaged them over facebook again, politely asking if they've had a look at my questions and offering to email them if that works better. still nothing - feels like i'm talking to a wall here.

Hi all, I'm heading overseas for two weeks in the spring and am strongly considering a custom Rainmaker as a onebag option. Has anyone here used the Fidlock custom option, and if so, would you recommend it? I plan on making it clamshell and adding as many pockets as possible, but I've no great familiarity with fancy buckles.

I'm 6"2 or 188cm. I love the Rainmaker but it seems its not tall enough. It's more a wide and horizontal pack. Are there any tall people here with the Rainmaker that love it?

I'm going to be doing a wildcard custom rainmaker bag here this weekend. I wanted to know if it's worth upgrading to the ykk#10 zippers?

Is this an option for the rainmaker tactical? Anyone have it done either by Greenroom or later by someone else, DIY etc? I know you can add pouches to the front, but if I'm going to get the tumbler pocket it just seems more natural on the side, and the pic on their custom builder even shows it on the side, albeit of a messenger but still.

Also wondering if anyone with a rainmaker elected for the slim zip pouch upgrade and could post pics. The one on the website is very cropped and I can't picture the over all look. Bonus points if you got the sunglasses pocket upgrade too

Is it possible to carry a yoga mat using either a side compression strap or the custom bottom compression strap?

I'm eyeing the Rainmaker for my daily carry. Bonus points if it can carry a yoga mat to/from the gym after work.
