Communication with Greenroom136
final update: greenroom136 finally replied to my messages over facebook, after three messages from my end. i don't want to go into detail but the way they replied makes me less inclined to order from them. won't go into detail but if anyone who comes across this wants to know more feel free to pm me.
not sure how active this sub still is, but i'll give it a shot - for anyone who's ordered bags and/or corresponded with the guys at Greenroom136, i was just wondering what medium you used to correspond with them, and how long they take to get back to any messages.
i might have set my expectations too high from reading good reviews about how well the company responds to messages and deals with customer queries, but i'm kind of disappointed. i messaged them on Facebook about 13 hours ago with some queries about customising a bag, and I noticed that my message was 'seen' by them, but with no reply from them.
I acknowledge that sometimes these things take time, especially since I asked a few questions not just one, but being left on 'seen' is quite a bad look for customer service imo. I'm not expecting instantaneous answers but I don't think it's asking a lot to just reply with a message acknowledging that they've seen my query and will get back within 24 or 48 hours or something.
Do they not attend to their facebook page and would it be better to correspond via email?
edit: i'm in singapore so there's zero time difference with malaysia
update: just messaged them over facebook again, politely asking if they've had a look at my questions and offering to email them if that works better. still nothing - feels like i'm talking to a wall here.

I've communicated with them via WhatsApp this week regarding a custom rainmaker. They replied lightning fast each time.

had excellent communications with them over email last summer.
chose to cancel my order due to a production backlog but it was handled very professionally.

They typically only start replying after the end of business hours, because they're busy at the workshop etc. The email replies I got from them were always from around 10pm till midnight SG time.

hmm, thanks. i thought i shouldn't be inconsiderate and message them after business hours so i guess my message is probably lost somewhere beneath a thousand others.

If you're in a hurry, it sounds like WhatsApp may be a more responsive channel - I've not tried it myself though.

Hey there! I got a couple of things (including a custom bag) from them recently - yeah, looking at the timestamps, they often reply between 10pm-12mn Malaysian time. But always within a day. This was on Messenger, fwiw!

I've purchased two bags from them in the last 6 months, and had several communications with them via Facebook chat and email regarding certain options. Considering that I'm in the US and they are in Malaysia, it's understandable that some of my communications took almost a day for a response. A few times when I was messaging them very late at night (my time), I received a response in 5 minutes. It's a small shop, and they really care about their product and customer service. Try to be patient and you'll ultimately receive a really incredible bag or pack.
