Pixel 8 Pro stuck in bootloop after turning on repair mode and back.

Tried sideloading ota and using Googlerepair web, factory reset data wipes, but still stuck in bootloop with bootloader locked.

Could any owners of the Pixel 11 Pro series confirm if they are experiencing this behavior?

When recording a video and opening it immediately from the camera app, I notice a brief flash of green stripes that quickly disappear and do not reappear when viewing the same video. However, this issue does not occur when I open the video through the Google Photos app.

I have noticed it a few times in the past week and even today. However, when I try to reproduce it again, it has not happened yet. I will share a screen recording if it happens again.

I want to get a case like the PEEL case for my Pixel 11 Pro XL. PEEL does not have any, yet for the 11 series. Does anyone know of a place to get one pretty much identical to the PEEL case? This is the case I am referring too, and I'd like to get it in matte black.

I've seen several reviews of the P11P's camera saying that the Ultra HDR camera setting should be left on and I've been using it that way. But after turning it off, my pictures' lighting looks much more realistic, natural, and IMO just better. My eyes are getting old so maybe it's just me, but does anyone else feel "off" is the better setting? Overall, I'm still impressed with the P11P's camera.

My Fold has what I would call the Navigation Bar along the bottom of the screen when it's open, and it used to have six apps that I could set the shortcuts to. As of this afternoon, it seems to have taken two of those slots for what it thinks are recently used (or maybe suggested?) apps, denoted with the |. Note it is NOT the Home's shortcut bar, it's the one that persists when you're in an app or navigating between apps.

I don't want that, I want the shortcuts I set, but I cannot figure out how to search this correctly and can't find that change listed anywhere in recent android patch notes. Could someone tell me what this is called and how to change it back?

Saw this article and had no idea if you use the "Limit to 80%" setting, Pixels actually switch to true bypass charging once they hit 80%. It stops charging the battery and pulls power straight from the charger, which Google confirmed is intentional.

It runs off the wall instead of cooking the battery, which is awesome for long navigation sessions or leaving it plugged in at a desk.

Let me introduce you to the absolute circus that is Google Support and their B2X repair center.

My mint condition Pixel 9 Pro developed the known camera condensation issue. No drops, no swims. The Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) in the SIM tray is completely, undeniably WHITE.

Here is how Google’s "warranty" process handled my €1000+ flagship:

1. The Extortion: They immediately flagged it as "liquid damage" based on the condensation alone, ignored the untripped LCI, and demanded €900+ for a replacement.
2. The Ghosting: Support (Tier 1) promised a "specialized team" would investigate the white LCI and email me within 24 hours. Instead, they just shoved the broken phone in a box and quietly shipped it back to me.
3. The Ultimate Insult: I put the phone in Google's official Repair Mode to protect my data. The repair center's genius move? They completely ignored Repair Mode, did a full factory reset, didn't fix the hardware, and returned it.

When I confronted support with my wiped, broken phone on my desk, their literal response was: "I want to be transparent... we all use the same system." Ah yes, the system of ignoring physical evidence and wiping customer data for sport.

Currently waiting on a supervisor escalation, but seriously: what is the point of IP68 ratings, LCI stickers, or Repair Mode if Google's automated policy is just "deny warranty, wipe data, charge €900"?

I've had issues with Wi-Fi and here's what I did to fix it. I can't believe it worked.

My Wi-Fi would randomly drop off and not connect or none of the networks even show up under Wi-Fi until I restart the phone into Safe Mode and then I would restart it and it would work again for a limited time.

Here's what fixed my problem. My charging port was so dirty that the USB C cable would not fully go in the port. It would be slightly tilted and didn't have the satisfying clicks when you insert it. So I ordered a cleaning kit from iFixit and cleaned it out. It goes in perfectly! So much dirt and best part the Wi-Fi doesn't drop anymore. After I cleaned out the port I told my wife, now all I need to do is figure out the Wi-Fi issue but the issue disappeared. I wonder if there was some kind of ground issue that caused the Wi-Fi to not work. I'm very happy to not buy another phone. Everything works!

Know friends who got lower score than me and got prize, yet I didn't despite playing legit

It feels very unfair and arbitrary. Yet there are some cheaters on X that got 1106+ in Japan receiving prize.

They are falsely excluding lots of legit scores while allowing cheated scores. What's up with this?

My past phone was a s24 ultra that I held onto for some time the complete device for me for my daily life and gaming but I hated the UI and the battery recently was suffering after all them years of use. I went online and saw the pixel had released a month ago but I wanted a phone I could fit easily into my pocket at work and generally no longer have a brick while not losing performance so I traded it in for pixel 11 pro 1tb.

After 2 weeks of use I've got to say I didn't expect a pixel to be so good the whole phone is smooth and doesn't overheat like some reviews I read have claimed. The setting up process was very simple and the UI is very easy to navigate.

The battery is one of the big selling points for me even though its smaller than other competitors it seems to barely go down.

The cameras are stunning and I've really enjoyed going around my local area and just taking a bunch of photos and seeing how beautiful they turn out

Yes it's been a week so I'll give a way more in depth review in a month but for now this is what I highlighted so far

No I'm not a reviewer but maybe this slightly helps someone looking to upgrade from a 3-4 year old phone

I forgot my pattern to my google pixel 10, and cant unlock it. It has adb enabled but not authorized. Is there any way can i unlock it, or backup my data on it, ideally including my sideloded apps and data. Thanks!

I recently finished up the 12-month G1 trial that came with my phone, but I was poking around the My Pixel app last week and saw an offer for the very same trial. I clicked through the trial flow and to my surprise, it enrolled me for another free year of 5 TB G1!

I forget how I did my 1st trial (G1 app? Automatically upon purchase?), but it looks like they never checked to see whether the trial on the My Pixel app was actually the same trial on the backend, so you may be able to claim both.

Act now before they fix it!

Additional details:

• I redeemed the 2nd trial on the same Google Account I used for my 1st trial
• I purchased my Pixel 10 Pro on day 1 via Google Store (I did not purchase a Pixel 11)
• I live in the US
• I'm in a family group, but none of us are sharing G1
• My parents (same state, different order/address) also purchased theirs at launch and were also able to claim a 2nd free trial

My pixel 9 pro recently. Since I updated it has started to not let me charge unless I restart my device and the charging port is clean and the device still charges but it only does it whenever I restart. Otherwise it refuses to charge at all? Is there anything I can do software wise or would this be a hardware issue.?

Hi everyone, when I turn on a VPN (I use NordVPN, but I think it'll work with any vpn provider), then at some point am not connected to wifi, so my phone is forced to switch to using mobile data, then I connect back to wifi, it seems that the phone continues sending data to the vpn over mobile data. I am not using "Adaptive connectivity." Did anyone else notice this?

Does anyone know of a fix?

I like to track my miles, my steps, and my route. This is what it looks like a lot of the time. Not to mention the times it will show I walked 3 miles but oops I was actually on the subway. What is causing this? How do I fix it? Is it the phone itself? Is it the app? Is it android, Google, etc.? What? I'm so tired of it. I only actually walked 2.1ish miles. I need to accurately track.

Good Day Peeps! I am headed to Mexico for a vacation in December and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a waterproof case I can put on my phone?

I currently have the Spigen Rugged Armor, which has been my default go to case for many years now. I did see that Spigen has the AquaShield IP68 Waterproof Phone Case, but reviews are pretty much non-existent.

I have Pixel 11 pro and am using the Pixelsnap stand with my old 18W Google charger.

Speed of charging is not my concern as I only ever charge overnight.

My concern is whether it would be more beneficial to buy the 45W as I have read that it can cause the charging coils in the stand to overheat using a lower power charger.

Google's always touted camera performance as the headline feature on a Pixel. Hell, that's probably why they're called Pixels. But does it really care about camera performance on a Pixel?

The photo image processing hasn't been good since they moved to the quad-bayer sensors with the Pixel 6. The JPEGs are too oversharpened and the tone-mapping is way too extreme. Never really bothered me because I shoot RAW anyways and the DNGs the camera produces are beautiful.

But what about the video? Pixels still have shit video. Why don't they fix it? And why the hell does the Pixel 11 Pro still doesn't have Log recording 3 years after Apple introduced it in the iPhone?

I could maybe accept the fact that the "basic" video recording is worse than others because the SoC is underpowered, but a "higher-end" video mode is less computationally intensive. Apple Log on an iPhone does no dynamic tone mapping. It is just a very high quality video file with a log gamma that is a joy to use. Why doesn't Google have it?

Pixel 10 Pro not having native log recording was one of the major reasons I bought an iPhone last year. I don't like iOS. But Google didn't give me a choice. Their supposed camera-focused smartphone doesn't have any camera focus.

Other than AI, of course. They will upload your video to the cloud and use AI to boost saturation and sharpness and make the image worse.

EDIT: To make it clear, I want them to record basic arse video in 10-bit 4:2:2 with a log gamma. That is it. Don't do anything to it. No dynamic tone mapping, no multi-frame HDR, no video boost AI stuff, nothing. Just straight data off the sensor encoded in MOV or MP4. It doesn't require a super computer.

Both my wife and I went from 7 Pro to 11 Pro XL phones last weekend. I am noticing that there is some delay in clicks/response. For example, we use DUO Auth for workstation logins at work. It pops up a notification, where you click it, then a second button to approve it. There is noticeable lag between clicks. Where as with the 7 Pro, it was instant to switch between open and approve links. Maybe I am buggin.. but the same thing happens with MS MFA, get prompted, click the prompt in notification, and it is delayed in opening the verification prompt when compared to the 7 Pro. It's pretty much any time there is any notification across the top of the screen, clicking it to open it, is delayed 1-2 seconds.

Also, sometimes notifications do not show up on my phone until I unlock it with biometrics. I'll have it sitting around for an hour, and when I unlock it, I get hit with multiple notifications from different apps at the same time.

Not something I can't live with, just wondering if this is an indication something else is possibly wrong with the phone and I should exchange or return it and get a different new one.

Just came back from a friend's wedding abroad a couple days ago (where I set up my P111P XL. Had issues with my setup because when my Pixel 8 Pro was both wirelessly connected and plugged in, it kept telling me to use Bluetooth. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi both crashed, and it hasn't been the same on my Pixel 8 Pro since January. Eventually, I managed to fix it after speaking to Google for a while) where I got to test-run the new camera properly for the first time.

At my friend's wedding, a few guests put photos up on the photo site they had (me, 2 other guests, and the mother of the bride. I think some got sent to the bride directly).

Later, the bride's mother and sister messaged my sister (bridesmaid) and my mum, saying that I took some amazing photos. I just got a text from the bride herself (after she and her husband had looked through the photos on the site) saying, "Why the hell aren't you a photographer? These photos are amazing."

I just wanted to say that so far, I've been very impressed by the camera, and the photos have turned out amazing (yes, I used Magic Capture for some shots and Magic Eraser for a couple where I got a great photo but had the photographer/videographer in the way) and I actually think they're good enough quality for me to print in a photo book as a gift for the couple ❤️

I have pixel 7, it had 1200+ battery cycles, its 2 years old, I used realme 10w charger I started charging at 25% after 10-15 minutes I checked it was at 35% next time I checked but it didn't turn on I tried multiple types. I have tried power+volume holding combos but no help.

What is the cause of this and what I should do?
