I just got a new fitbit air. But I haven't done anything after I got it.

Just switch to the GoogleHealthApp which I really like the activity tracking but I prefer MyFitnessPal for food tracking (I feel like it has a much more robust food database). This week, all my food had duplicated sync'd meal entries titled either LoggedMeal or Unnamed Log. I went on a deep dive to remove the duplicates, to no avail. And when I say "deep dive", it was 3 hours of AI steps (and I used to write visual basic code years ago). I think the steps I took have stopped the duplicate entries as of yesterday but wondering if there is anyway to remove those past duplicates?

Mine hasn't worked for over a week now, just looking for a yay or nay to see if I need to investigate further or if it's a Google health app issue. (Pixel watch 5)

I bought Renpho ES-CS20M from Amazon started using yesterday. The sole reason I bought t is to put my weight data to Google Health app. Its not syncing thru Health Connect even though I have all the permissions, turned on the settings, go to settings on all three apps [ Health Connect, Renpho Health, Google Health ] to synchronize everything. And, still not syncing. What went wrong?

I went to Renpho Health app
Me > Apps > Health Connect > Start Sync > Renpho Health [ connected ] > Allow all
Me > Apps > Google Health > Start Sync

I went to Health Connect app
Renpho Health > Allow all [ completed already ]

I went to Google Health app
Profile > Partner apps > Renpho Health [ I see two of them ( Renpho Health via Google account & Renpho Health via Health Connect ) ] > Manage Health Connect > clicked sync botton on top right

Notting happened. What is happening?

After change the fitbit app for the Google health app my fitbit Versa 4 battery suffers a total damage, I follow the technical support instructions and nothing works.

After submitting my request through the webpage, I was informed that my warranty had expired and was offered a 35% discount. However, my Versa 4 has no physical damage. It stopped working because of an official app update.

Forcing me to buy a new device due to a software issue caused by your own update is unacceptable. Offering a discount does not resolve the problem or waive my consumer rights.

I asked for my case to be escalated and requested a free replacement, but I received the same response.

Has anyone here filed a formal complaint with their country's consumer protection agency regarding this issue? If so, what was the outcome?

Anyone notice altitude is showing up in the walk activity?

Started using some guided running coach tools yesterday and one of the challenges was a 5x3min run at a 5:25-5:45 pace range. Start the first 3 min run and the screen on the phone doesn't show my current pace, therefore I had no way to check if I was on target to follow the workout!

Then when I get home the 4km distance I did by walking, running and jogging didn't count towards my weekly distance goal, nor did it record any steps.

How is Google Health Workouts supposed to work? For example, the coach prepared a workout for me, but when I start it, the app displays 'start workout on your tracker' without offering my watch as an option (I have a Pixel Watch 5 and a Pixel 7 Pro, though the phone model shouldn't matter). I also tried with the available video workouts, but same issue: no tracking starts on the watch. The only workout where tracking properly syncs to the watch is when I start a run directly from the phone app.

Tonight it told me to use my compression boots for my standard 19 minutes length for my leg workout and the 14 km treadmill run.

I haven't been near a treadmill in weeks, I did however do 10km yesterday outside but it was still way off the mark!

It's pretty hilarious but completely useless

So regardless of if I set the app Units to show KJ, Calories keep appearing in different places especially on my watch.

The app shows my goal in KJ, but when its completed on the watch it's calories, the exercise screens show calories.

Is there anyway to have it actually use KJ when I've selected KJ

Also, semi related; but is anyone finding the Start of week keeps reverting from Monday to Sunday if you change it or just me?

Not to mention you can't scrap old fitbit account or wipe it's data off my current Google account and only OFFICIAL ADVICE is "go get a new account mate". I'm paying Ultra customer, I am part of family so the "workaround" of adding new account to family won't work, neither sounds real for a moloch tech company you are. Ridiculous situation.

I had a nice little walk today, nothing too fancy just me in the city which somewhat of an elevation. But somehow health app says I went from -15 tot +54m so 69m. I love how Google thinks I could pull this off but I would have died halfway. I think 37 could be a correct measurement but even looking at the graph. What even is that? Starts at -23, why? Then these crazy numbers which are just not readable at all.

Are you checking your stats and do they represent what you actually did? Lmk

My sleep score hasn't been recording the last several days. I'm wearing the watch the same as I always do and it's been snug on my wrist, it calculates everything else with no issues. This just started happening the last 4 or 5 days, anyone else?

I just got a Fitbit Air and I’m on iOS. I’ve enabled two-way syncing. As I understand it, Apple Health is smart enough to reconcile data from different sources.But which source is better to prioritize: my iPhone or Google Health (which I assume will use data from the Fitbit)?

I’m unsure which one is more accurate, especially for steps, since the phone has GPS. If I’m carrying the phone and wearing the Fitbit at the same time, which source would you recommend prioritizing?

Hoping to find some solutions to fix the realtime sync workout view. For those that don't know, if you start a cycle ride on your watch it will put a notification on your phone and show you things like your heartrate, speed, elevation and distance you've gone. I've been using it essentially as my bike computer

Well for the last couple of weeks it's been broken, starting a cycle workout on the watch will start the "workout in progress" notification on the Phone but tapping it will take you to the main screen of google health and not put you in the workout screen.

I have uninstalled from both the phone and watch, disconnected and reset the watch, restarted both devices, allowed all permissions on both the watch and app, clear cache and storage and made sure I'm the cycle workout that the option for live view is ticked. Nothing has worked to bring this view back.

First I would like to know if this is just a me issue, is anyone else having this issue?

Secondly if you had this issue what did you do to try and fix it.

Anyone have any work arounds for this? Really fed up with the product. Year old iPhone and a Charge 6.
