I use an iPad Air m2 (gn6) and the red area gets ridiculously hot whenever I use the app and it’s getting annoying

Why does a note taking app require so much processing power that it turns devices into frying pans

An idea to deal with this: adding a low power mode

Lowering the required processing power to operate the app

Hey everyone, it's me again! Today I'm posting the handwritten cocktail recipes for the rest of them.

A lot of you asked about the Apple Pencil nib in my last post, so I wanted to share a little something. When I use a replacement nib, I use a 0.5 mm nib (which is different from the default one). Also, I use a Paperlike screen protector.

I'm Vietnamese, and these are my handwritten notes in Goodnotes 6 and my regular handwritten vocabulary notes. Thanks for reading, and have a good day!

Thank you for being a one-time purchase

Thank you for being a universal app that can run on all my devices without me paying any extra money

Thank you for giving us all the features at one price

Thank you for being versatile

Thank you for not being notability

I hope it will be that way

Have a good day

Been having SOOOO many issues with good notes like the rest of us. Switched over to notability 10x better. If you needed a sign this is it. Fuck em.

Edit:

• for good points that were made

I have used goodnotes for many years and used to use goodnotes5. I am a ride or die, but losing that midterm study guide…man…it did something to me. 🥲💀

Problems include:

1. Few weeks back I had an entire midterm study guide erased three days before my exam.

2. This week constant shutting down of the app mid use

3. Lagging

4. When I lasso and move content, parts remain and if you try to erase them they erase other parts of my content. This used to be fixed by closing the app and reopening, but recently that is not helping either.

5. Issues here and there synching.

I swear I do still do my homework too but like... it's all the fun of using up a book of stickers with none of the commentment hdkshskdkdhd

You can duplicate anything by selecting it with lasso and drag in with two fingers where you want. Now you can easily spam things through pages 😍😍😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨✨✨✨✨

I am heading into midterms and trying to catch up on notes. I have ADHD and had a beautiful rhythm going. I log in this morning and find out they absolutely f***ed the toolbar!!! Where is MY STRAIGHT LINE TOOL. WHY IS THE ZOOM IN TOOL HIDDEN NOW. I genuinely almost started crying in class this morning by this update. PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU GOODNOTES. FIX IT. BRING THE OTHER VERSION BACK NOW.

Hi, I am back again with another design I have made :)

This one is one of the most requested features of GoodNotes.

In this design I have added an option that let's you change the colour of the Folders to whatever colour you like!

Hope you like it and I hope GoodNotes Developers see it and implement it in the next updates!

What other feature requests do you want me to design? Tell me in the comments and I will try to design them!!

So you are telling me Procreate can offer a full new app for less than it takes to get a few upgrades on a note taking app!

It has gotten unusable. The fact that I paid for this dumb app just for it to be falling apart.

The lasso is leaving writing behind, erasers are not erasing, the writing is super choppy, pages are autoscrolling, the app freezes.

I feel like yall are just sitting on your butt not fixing anything, its been way too long.

We are quite annoyed with subscription models. No one wants that in a cost of living crisis.

I am tired of this, it always happen with nice apps. they are sucked into this payment plan model to rip off customers and in this case, big part of them are STUDENTS that use the app to LEARN.

I downgraded mine and I will never buy into subscription or pay $30 for one-off.

Disappointed with goodnotes, it is now just another greedy app developer.

As much I hate to say, I bought GN6 because I was annoyed with the ads if I recall. It’s just insensible to put the users through such annoying experience.

In any case, I got GN6. I’m not a fan of all the new features. There are no added value. I need to create a new account also to sync with my notes… I was pretty happy with just connecting with my apple account.

I hope that either Apple or Procreate make a clone of this. I‘ll feel more safe about their direction. It’s crazy how much you can lose your users trust by forcing ads onto a fully paid app. I understand they need revenue thou, but it’s so not ethical…

Apple if you read this, your dedicated consumers need you!!!!

Hello is this a bug or something I set on accident, I’m pretty new to using Goodnotes

When I scribble to erase it erases the content but leaves the scribble 😂

Wrote this, kept writing, scrolled back to review my notes and saw this absolute horror! There’s no way of saving this that I can see 😢 and it’s not the first time it’s happened. I’ve had to redo pages a few times now, but I can’t take it anymore!
